Coffee is fantastic but is always delayed/behind/unclear when it will arrive

Coffee is fantastic. I have been a subscriber for years. The delivery has been inconsistent over the past 18 months, and most months have been delayed (they always charge on time). I am currently two months behind on a delivery.They always offer a refund, but I want a working subscription service. The product/price has been worth the hassle because I assumed it would smooth out, but unfortunately, it seems to be getting worse and worse.I am so bummed by this. I feel sorry for their customer service team.

Lie after Lie

These people are liars and thieves. For years I've been a customer. Now, I consistently do not receive my subscription coffee for 2 months after I paid for it. I now have 17 lbs of coffee owed to me by these weasels. I have received countless form emails saying the same thing, the part that is the worst is "your coffee should arrive next week" stupidity. It's a scam system of taking money and not delivering product. they are not a member of the BBB for some reason. Screw em all.

A month later, still no coffee or shipping date

Placed an order for the first time a month ago. I wish I had seen these reviews first. Same deal. Apologetic emails about shipping delays, offered to issue a refund (should I even bother? People are saying they never got their refund), and still no shipping date. And of course, they took my money the moment I ordered. Has anyone reported them to the BBB? Is this "company" just a scam?

Stay Away From Don Pablo

I have been a customer of Don Pablo for a few years now. In the past I order the coffee and it is there in several days. For the last couple years something has changed. I ordered 10 lbs. on 8/13/24 and it still isn't here and no ETA yet...They have my money but I have no product...a few form letters asking if I wanted a refund. Can't get CS to answer the phone. This sucksDon't buy from Don Pablo

Horrible customer service (still)

I have had a subscription for Don Pablo coffee for a few years now. I receive 5 pounds every other month. This last year my deliveries have been slower and slower. They always charge you on the first of the month with no intention of filling your order. I keep running out of coffee, so I changed my subscription to monthly. currently I have paid for August and September and in another week they will charge me for October and have received no coffee. When you contact customer service they just tell you lies and state that your coffee is going out in a couple days. The only reason I do not cancel my subscription is I love the coffee! But horrible, horrible, customer service! UPDATE: 10/7/24 still no coffee from orders Aug and Sep 1st. Hopefully I canceled the October 1 order else my credit card would’ve been charged again! Each week I receive a generic email stating my coffee is shipping next week, but that I could cancel my order for a full refund. Good luck with that! If you go on the Amazon website, you can order the same coffee at a higher price and get it shipped in one or two days, so it seems they have the coffee and I cannot explain why they don’t ship it.

They take your money then never ship the product. If you call you get an answering service, not the actual company. If you email them they never respond. Avoid.

Bad customer service

I like the coffee, but waiting 2 months for my order to be sent is not acceptable. This is not a one time occurrence. It has been going on for well over a year and a half.

I truly love the taste of this coffee…

I truly love the taste of this coffee everyone we have given a cup to at our home loves it. I’ve had a subscription for years now and have been very happy with it. Recently in August 2024 I didn’t get my order. I was told it was delayed a bit. I said ok. Several weeks went by and nothing. Then the next month was debited from my account. Again no coffee. I’ve tried emailing calling and no answer any time of the day. I emailed and received a reply but the message was all jumbled together I count read it. It any event just cancelled my subscription. I’m so disappointed as we are huge fans of this coffee it’s exactly what I was looking for. Organic and low acid. Its delicious! However the customer service and ability to communicate and fulfill orders is terrible. Brenda

Wish i had read reviews first. Waiting three weeks and still no coffee with same response others have received. No returned phone calls. Requested refund. No response yet. I will report a problem with credit card company.

unacceptable slow shipping time and service

I've ordered from Don Pablo Coffee (aka Burke Brands LLC) a few times between 2021 - 2024, and look forward to my last and final order with them arriving. Sorry, fellow coffee lovers - but avoid ordering from this company. I'm echoing several other negative reviews here - I placed an order on Sept 1, 2024, and today (Oct 6th) the only notification I received (Sept 23rd) was an insufficient, generic notice to all customers about delays. If your supply chain is failing consistently or you don't have the resources to support online orders, first inform your customers more than 3 weeks after their order and consider just disabling your e-commerce shop altogether. This has occurred every time I've ordered from them. You'd think that they're literally shipping each bean, one at a time, roasting each bean one at a time at this rate. Or perhaps this company thinks they can run on a lean staff. Over a month for any order? How do tons of other coffee companies provide quality coffee in a fraction of the time from order to receiving product? Burke Brands LLC should reconsider their business model because it's failing their customers. Unacceptable service.
