I recently spoke with Tiffany (TCE) regarding the short sale loan process for a client. I was seeking general information about the process, specifically the website where the application can be submitted. At no point did I request any confidential information or account-specific details.
Unfortunately, Tiffany was rude and unprofessional during the conversation. When I asked about the website, she responded that she couldn’t provide it and implied I was asking too many questions. She then asked for my name and the business I work at. I found this interaction frustrating, as my questions were straightforward and directly related to the company’s publicly available process—not any client or personal information.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as professionalism and clear guidance are crucial when assisting agents with general process inquiries.

I am writing to share my concerns regarding the service I experienced with Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc., particularly related to their check processing procedures.Recently, we received a check for an insurance claim that required us to endorse it and mail it to Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. for co-endorsement. To my surprise, I discovered that they intended to send a fully-endorsed check via regular mail, without any tracking, to our home. Given that our mailbox does not lock and there has been a history of mail theft in our neighborhood, I expressed my concerns. Unfortunately, their response was, "That's our policy, and there's no exception."This situation required me to spend two hours coordinating with the staff and management of my credit union to find a solution. Ultimately, we had to draft a formal letter requesting the endorsed check be sent to a credit union branch. We had to bring the signed letter to the credit union branch, and have their branch manager send the letter to DMI. DMI would then send endorsed check to a secure address, enabling safe deposit of the funds into our account. To complicate matters further, I received several follow-up emails from Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc., with four different representatives requesting the same information repeatedly. I was asked to share my loan number via email multiple times, which raises concerns about secure email practices. The practices employed by Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. not only pose risks for the institutions they serve but also for their clients. During my interactions, there was little indication that they acknowledged the potential for fraud or theft associated with their methods. Their lack of responsiveness to these serious concerns was disheartening. This experience caused significant inconvenience for both the staff at my credit union and my family. Most concerning was the apparent indifference displayed by Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. regarding these operational shortcomings.I strongly encourage Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. to reevaluate their practices, enhance staff training, and implement improved service protocols. A review of feedback on various platforms suggests that there is considerable room for improvement. I share this feedback with the best intentions, hoping that Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. will take these concerns to heart and make necessary changes to their operations.
WARNING! This is Hands Down the WORST MORTGAGE COMPANY/SERVICING COMPANY I have ever dealt with. This company has managed to make a mess of both of the mortgages that they've owned/serviced for me. I just made my fourth call to them to correct a mistake they made, processing my bi-weekly mortgage payment, only to be told that I have to go through the entire application, approval and pre-payment process (that means make two FULL mortgage payments in one month...which I already did,) all over again. They admit they made the mistakes with my account, but refuse to correct their error. Both my husband and I have been real estate agents, dealt with many mortgage companies and owned 12 properties over the years. When you apply for a mortgage MAKE SURE the company you are getting the mortgage with will not sell the mortgage to, or have it serviced by, Dovenmuehle. I am shocked that any reputable bank would ever work with them!
ZERO STARS The worst experience ever. My bank (BMO) used to service our mortgage until COVID and they made the decision to work with Dovenmuehle. These people are terrible. You can never get a person on the phone, if you by chance get an email address don't expect a response...not even a hey we're working on it. Nada. I applied for foreclosure assistance through the HAF program and was approved for the states maximum...these people rejected the funds because I owed 5% more on the mortgage even though I already had a repayment plan in place. They would have received the remainder from my monthly payment the next month which would have lifted the foreclosure. Heartless people. AVOID if you can!
Buyer Beware! Dovenmuehle is a 3rd Party Partner for Alliant Credit Union. When the Covid-19 Pandemic affected my business in March 2020. I called Alliant Credit Union regarding my mortgage payment. I have never been late and had a 787 credit rating. I had advised Alliant Credit Union that I have limited income at the time and was requesting my payments would be pushed back and that my credit would not be tarnished until I begin receiving Unemployment. The Representative stated not to worry everything will be ok. I called again and they gave me a number for Dovenmuehle. I must have called them 40 times and emailed the 20 times in the course of 2 months and left messages never receiving a callback, letter, or email. I had made my April payment in mid March, but held on to the May payment because I was told that my payments were pushed back to July 2020. This was all a lie. My friend ran a credit report and I was advised that Alliant Credit Union / Dovenmuehle posted to my credit report that I was delinquent in my payments. I went ahead and made a payment for May and June. I then followed up with a call to Dovenmuehle and got transferred to collections where the representative treated me like a criminal. I told him that I made payments for May and June and I wanted my credit fixed. He then transferred me to customer service and that individual helped me to to set up an account to where I could email a request to a forbarace removed and my credit fixed. I did so and called back the following day. They showed that I had not made my June payment when I already did. This was another issue I had to get fixed. 2 weeks have passed and my credit has not been repaired. I cant believe that Dovenmuehle can treat customers who have been in good standing this way. Promises made that my credit will not be tarnished were not Kept. I will definitely be refinancing my loan. I have never seen such incompetent organization. This has been nothing but a hassle and Alliant Credit Union does deserve some of the fault here.
