I worked with ebony and she was absolutely amazing, I was able to finalize everything in two days and she was easy to communicate with and made the whole process so easy and as a first time buyer a very simple way to fill out paperwork and was able to help me finish this whole process easily and with very little stress! Highly recommend this process if you’re in the market for a car.

MA doesn’t recognize “paper tags”. It’s been 5+ weeks of NOT receiving my title, registration or plates. Different excuse every time. Sarah Wolfe will ignore you, Charles will give you wrong info all together. I haven’t driven my car yet, according to them “just drive it anyway”. No one cares. I even tried to return it 3 times before my 7days was up with both Sarah AND Charles. No one gave me paperwork or returned a call/text.

I want to share my experience with Driveway.com so others know what to expect. Although their website advertises a seamless online car-buying process, my actual experience was confusing and poorly coordinated from start to finish.

• The financing process was handled entirely by phone because their online system wasn’t working, and I was never able to view finalized pricing, financing terms, or documentation through a portal.

• Delivery notice was minimal — I received a call late the night before and was asked to meet the driver at a Walmart parking lot instead of having the car delivered to my home.

• Upon vehicle delivery, I noticed a damaged driver’s side door and multiple sensor warning lights on a car with only about 9,600 miles. I did not feel comfortable driving it.

• From delivery Friday afternoon through the weekend, I received no meaningful support — no one answered calls or addressed my concerns.

• The transaction was ultimately rescinded and the vehicle returned, but I had to deal with the stress and confusion of the process myself.

Overall, the experience did not match the online purchasing promise. If you are considering using Driveway.com, understand that communication and support may be limited, and documentation can be difficult to access.

Registration problems are a significant issue with this service.

Registration problems are a significant issue with this service. I've had two temporary registrations since acquiring my vehicle on 12/01/2025. Now, I've been informed that my registration was incorrectly rejected by the state and has been resubmitted. The temporary registration I currently have expires on 01/28/2026, and I've been given an estimated resolution date of 01/30/2028. It's frustrating not being able to drive the vehicle without proper registration. I'm very disappointed.

Disappointing Experience with a Recent Purchase

Purchased a 2015 vehicle as a gift, received it on December 23. The very next day, when attempting to start it, the ignition failed to turn. I also noticed a significant oil leak underneath and the check engine light was on. After driving less than 100 miles, I had to trailer it to a shop for diagnosis. They discovered multiple issues: a rear main seal leak, a faulty thermostat, rear tires that were barely legal, leaking shocks, a dirty air filter, a malfunctioning ignition, and a bad battery. Despite it being the holiday season, they refused to extend my 7-day warranty. The total repair costs, excluding the shocks and tires, amounted to $3,300, and adding those would bring it to over $4,000. I paid over $12,000 for this vehicle, and they only offered me $2,000, insisting I cover the rest since it was sold as-is. I wouldn't recommend them, as they do not take responsibility for hidden issues, even when reported immediately after purchase.

Difficulty Reaching Support for Expiring Temporary Plate

I attempted to contact them regarding my temporary plate that is set to expire on 12/30/2025. It's not possible to drive with an expired plate. I sent multiple emails but received no replies. The buying experience was smooth, but the registration process has been quite challenging. The plate is valid for only 30 days.

Initial process was smooth, but major issues followed.

The initial online process was straightforward and efficient. It took about three sessions to sign numerous documents and get everything notarized. However, once payment was made and all paperwork was submitted, a host of problems arose. My vehicle has been sitting just 10 minutes away for over a week, and I keep receiving vague responses regardless of whom I contact. Promises of receiving my car have turned into daily disappointments, making me regret my choice to work with them. As of December 8th, I still have no idea when my vehicle will be ready. I appreciate any assistance from the team in resolving this issue and hope to update my review positively.
