Review Time
This review reflects my genuine experience as an employee. The communication and expertise from management here are alarmingly inadequate, creating a hazardous environment. Most of the staff are foreign and are allowed to live on-site in makeshift accommodations at an industrial location. The buses are poorly maintained, often showing dangerous defects. Drivers do not receive their entitled breaks, and the management, if it can be called that, seems clueless. Buses are consistently late, leading to frustrated customers. Many drivers leave within a week after witnessing the disarray of the company, while others are foreign employees paying €50 a week in rent and forced to endure grueling shifts. Working here is a terrible experience. It is truly awful. Passengers are risking their safety with buses that are in disrepair and inadequately trained drivers who face exhausting hours. I spent three weeks observing this situation and was shocked by what I witnessed. I couldn't tolerate the mismanagement and chaos any longer. It's a dismal place.
This was the worst experience I ever had the bus was a whole hour late we had to wait in the cold while it was minus degrees and we got no warning or anything we were waiting on 726 . Evantually another buss 750 came and we spoke to the bussdriver and he reaches the buss driver that was meant to pick us up and he was giving us rubbish answers or no answers eventually after 10 minutes of talking to the driver me and a bunch of other people got offered on that buss 750 to Redcow and the buss driver promised that the buss 726 would be there so later we went and when we arrive the buss was still not there and he later left us and a bunch of other stranded there in the cold after 15 minutes the buss came and it was dirty no heaters or anything and we still had to pay the bare minimum they could’ve done was let us go free many people missed transportations because of this delay this in total ended up taking over 3 hours this Dublin coach buss is absolutely rubbish never rely on it
Genuine review from an employee.First of all the lack of communication and experience from bosses here is not only extremelely poor but in fact damgerous.Mostly All staff are foreign and allow there foreign staff the live onsite in made up dorms in industrial site. The buses are so badly if at all maintained. They are all in bits with dangerous defects on nearly all buses.Drivers do not get there entitled breaks. Management if you call them that, havent a clue. Buses are never ever on time resulting in angry customers. Drivers come and go within a week on seeing how bad this company is. The rest are foreign who are living on paying rent of €50 a week and are bound to work mad shifts. Its an awful place to work. Absolutely awful. Passengers are putting their lives in there hands with buses that are falling apart and poorly non trained drivers who are made to work exhausting shifts.I stayed here and experienced this place for 3 weeks and literally could not believe my eyes.I couldnt put up with what i was seeing and how badly run this place is. What a hell hole
I sat beside my bus from cork to Waterford at the stop and missed it as the bus said Dublin on it. Their ticket and tracker app said Waterford. They wouldn’t even acknowledge this is confusing when I contacted them and refused to refund me. Will never travel with them again and wouldn’t advise tourists to use it as not very clear or easy to figure out what bus you need to get on.
There's now a website where you can track your bus which is helpful. The occasional very-lateness still isn't helping though. Buses need replacing too especially on the 726 route to Portlaoise.I genuinely thought the bus was speeding today but it turns out they are limited and tracked and thus is legislative and required. Frances was very helpful in explaining that. So I was wrong.I have to say considering it gets you from red cow to Naas in 20 minutes after 7 30pm and there's a tracking app...(Use track my bus on the website the actual app is still shocking) I do see some green shoots. Just upgrade the buses now and it'll be a decent service.
Bus was 50 mins late from Tralee to Annacotty . I was supposed to be there 40 mins early for my change of bus but I missed it and it’s the last bus of the day therefore have to spend like 150 on a hotel in limerick. Disgrace of a service would not recommend
Booked a bus Kilkenny to Dublin and the bus never turned up. Had to arrange alternative travel arrangements as I had to catch a flight. Requested a full refund €25 from Dublin Coach and received generic email stating: Allow 14-16 days for a response. Is Dublin Coach having a laugh?? Or possibly hoping customer get fed up chasing refunds due?? 17 Days and still no response from Dublin Coach. How can a National transport provider get away with such a shoddy service. AVOID at all costs…use Bus Eireann….I will be avoiding Dublin Coach going forward.
The worst bus ever. Do not use this bus to the airport , cause you will end up paying for taxi/ Uber to the airport. Ireland is so so behind in everything, the country is poor, the service is bad. I feel sorry for people here. It seems people here doesn't know what does “on time” mean.
