We had an incredibly poor experience…

We had an incredibly poor experience today with Dyno-Rod! Suffered an emergency leak, the initial call with the agent was positive and a same day appointment was agreed. Then one hour later, we received a call from the person who had been assigned the job, who made it very clear she didn’t wish to come out (it was already 7pm) and made every effort to delay us until the next morning. Her overall tone and attitude left me with no option than to cancel the whole appointment and make alternate arrangements! Really poor experience

Outstanding Service – A True Professional Who Went Above and Beyond!

We recently had to call on British Gas under our drains cover due to a blocked shower in our newly fitted bathroom. Despite trying everything ourselves—from plungers to drain unblockers—we couldn’t solve the problem. We were dreading the possibility of having to uplift our new flooring to access the issue, which added to the stress.British Gas arranged for Dyno-Rod to attend, and true to their word, an engineer named Jodie arrived promptly the next morning. From the moment she arrived, it was clear we were in capable hands. Jodie’s knowledge, professionalism, and calm approach were incredibly reassuring.She initially attempted to fix the issue via the shower trap and external manhole using a camera, but it soon became evident that the blockage was deep within the pipework. After exhausting all other options, we reluctantly agreed to remove a tile to gain proper access—something I had been dreading.Thanks to Jodie’s precision and care, we managed to remove a single tile without damaging the surrounding ones. Once we gained access, she quickly identified the culprit: a shampoo bottle cap lodged deep in the pipe, severely restricting water flow.It took time, teamwork, and a good dose of perseverance (and a bit of blood, sweat, and tears!), but with Jodie’s guidance and determination, we successfully removed the blockage using a combination of camera work and a specialist tool.Jodie was nothing short of amazing—her dedication, skill, and attitude were a credit to both Dyno-Rod and British Gas. She’s a true ambassador for the company and deserves recognition for her exceptional service.Since the visit, I’ve upgraded the trap to a better design, and fingers crossed we won’t have to deal with this issue again. But if we do, I’d want Jodie back in a heartbeat.Thank you again, Jodie.

Sam from Dyno came out on an emergency call out and was incredibly helpful and kind. He was patient and took the time to answer all of my questions whilst providing a thorough walk through of the issue. Highly recommend, by far the nicest plumber I have come across.

Friendly, efficient and tidy

Kai, our plumber today, quickly found our leak and repaired it while ensuring that he caused the very minimum level of damage necessary . to get access. He had a very friendly manner, explaining what he was going and why, as he was going along.Left our house tidy with a fixed pipe!

Despite paying monthly service to…

Despite paying monthly service to British gas for over 18 years, I still had to pay a huge £732 to just fix a leak. This is really disheartening.Engineer Sam that was sent out today was a big help with sorting out the issue. Hopefully the leak is sorted. He was quick to work, friendly, and explained the process and the steps carried out to fix it. I'm still reeling from the £732 bill for fixing a water leak, despite being a long-term British Gas customer.

From my distressed phone call to you, you were at my house within an hour and within another hour, you had fixed the problem. My rods were recovered and disinfected drains unblocked and everything left tidy. Steve was very professional, helpful and very kind
