Quality books, but major issues with billing

The books are of high quality, but there's a persistent problem with double authorizations appearing in our account every time we place an order, which locks up funds we need for other expenses. When I reached out for assistance, the support team was quite rude, and when I attempted to cancel my order, the supervisor dismissively said, "buh-bye," before hanging up. Even my bank mentioned that the situation felt suspicious. We decided to issue a stop payment on the company. If this continues, they may face serious financial trouble. I won't be ordering directly again; if I want a specific book, I'll look for it elsewhere at a better price.

Excellent book quality, but customer service is lacking.

The books are of excellent quality. However, every time I place an order, two separate authorizations appear in my account, resulting in double charges that tie up funds I need for other expenses. A very positive purchasing experience.

My experience buying from the company has been quite positive. I ordered several books, and they arrived at my home within 12 days, even with free shipping. The books are stunning, and I’m very pleased with them. I've already ordered more for my collection. I also called customer service with a few questions, and the representative was very friendly. I ordered the 100 Greatest collection and have only received four books after spending thousands. It's been a year since my last book, and the company has not responded to my inquiries! Their excuse is that they are out of stock, which is simply unacceptable.

I think it would be helpful to have an option to email the title of the book you want to send back, along with the ability to reject it before it is shipped.

Privacy violations and poor service.

I would rate this experience lower if possible. I bought a book as a gift and was paying in installments. After losing my debit card, I failed to update my payment info. Instead of contacting me, they sent collection notices to the gift recipient, violating my privacy. When I raised this issue, the representative was rude and dismissive, ignoring documentation that contradicted their claims. This behavior feels manipulative and emotionally damaging. I will never buy from this company again and advise others to stay away.
