Review Time
This is a response for those who, like others, are struggling to receive their rightful refunds from the company. I faced a similar situation last year, feeling ignored while pursuing my refund. Ultimately, I managed to reclaim my £2150, and here’s how: Reach out to a consumer advice service for guidance. After following the necessary steps to allow the company a chance to refund me (which they didn’t), I was advised to file a County Court Judgement (CCJ) in small claims court. Once the company received my CCJ, they refunded my money, albeit seven months late. I also included interest on the CCJ and charged for my time spent on this issue. Maintain a dated record of all communications and keep postal receipts for any important letters sent. I hope this information is helpful. Unfortunately, I can't respond to queries directly. Best of luck in reclaiming your funds; don’t let the company get away with this!

I am owed a deposit for a roof replacement that the company could not complete. After numerous attempts to communicate via calls and emails, I submitted a claim through small claims court, only to learn that the company is now in liquidation. When I contacted the service this morning, the employee I spoke to was unaware of this development. I will be reaching out to the court and the insolvency office on Monday for further action.
Avoid this company! In the past six months, they contacted my elderly parents, both in poor health, with a quote for a back door costing £1700, which they felt pressured to accept. I had to cancel two days later. Recently, another salesperson pressured them into a £1100 deal for unnecessary window work after claiming savings. I’m now forced to cancel this order as well. The salesperson's name is illegible on the paperwork. This company preys on the vulnerable, and it’s disgraceful.
I have been trying to get back a £327 deposit from this company after spending £6600. I've contacted customer service seven times, including filling out a disputes form, but the response is always the same: they will inform the director. As the sole director, you are failing in your responsibility to ensure timely refunds. This situation feels like a theft of my funds if they are not returned. I strongly advise against dealing with this firm if you cannot risk financial loss.
Why hasn’t my grandad's deposit been refunded? This company has treated him poorly, and the delay in returning his funds is unacceptable. Why is it taking so long? Why are they mistreating elderly clients? Don’t they have grandparents too?
The exterior of the windows was left incomplete, the door was misaligned, and the bathroom window didn’t fit properly. They failed to install the door lock that was quoted, and one of the glass panels was cracked. They returned the next day to fix the exterior, door, and bathroom window but didn’t upgrade the lock as promised. They also left the bathroom wall messy after repairs, claiming it met industry standards. Two weeks later, they returned with a new glass panel but couldn’t resolve everything. I’m still waiting for an update.
Avoid this company at all costs! They exploit vulnerable individuals, and you will likely be scammed. Do not pay any deposits; if you change your mind, you’ll lose it! My elderly mother, who has limited sight, is still waiting for a refund after being misled about the services. The company has not responded to any communications regarding her cancelled deposit. It’s appalling how they treat elderly clients, and I plan to report them to the relevant authorities.
