My Electra cooker is only six months old. Requested an engineer visit in January when it was only weeks old. Food was left unfinished at top but charred underneath.Booked a gas engineer to look at it but an electrician arrived.He was unable to examine the cooker but rang his boss and booked an gas engineer to visit.No one came.After our sunday lunch was left charred underneath contacted electra again. Engineer has just been. The problem is caused by a design problem so cant be fixed.Contacted electra again just after he left.They wanted serial number and proof of purchase. Then after sending this I was offered £50.00 compensation but no replacement.Despite the fact that I was legally entitled for a replacement or refund they put every single obstacle in my way. First they needed the engineers report. Apparently this would take until tuesday at the earliest.They would get back to me in due course. From past experience I knew this was unlikely. Customer service of this company speak like robots, just the same spiel every time you talk with them.Off pat and never varies. I believed Electra were a reputable company. Believe me they are not !!Avoid like the plague.

Electra non existent support - website expired!!

Purchased an Electra Oven via AO on 10 December 2025. Door faulty on arrival and broke, inside of the door was warped. Called the warranty team Pacifica on 6th Jan, engineer booked for 20th Jan 2026. They didn't show up. Booked again for 23rd Jan, engineer took pictures and left. Called today, on hold for over an hour to Pacifica. The part they need is out of stock, possibly back in stock in March!! Meanwhile we can't use the oven. They said I could request a replacement directly with Electra and gave me a number to call - which was for Electrolux! Wrong company altogether. There is no number online at all for Electra - so I'm currently on hold again for Pacifica - 48 minutes in and fuming. Would never buy an Electra product again - wouldn't even take one for free.

AVOID AVOID AVOID We had our washer dryer less than a year and it burst into flames 2 weeks ago whilst our baby was sleeping upstairs. Lucky my wife was awake and smelled the smoke.Firemen came and dragged it outside.Electra was rubbish and took us through so many hoops. We was in the phone for an hour being passed from person to person.Lucky the warranty people was good and gave us a code for AO for anouther. However we would never had a electra machine ever again and put in extra money for a better brand.It was like a month old when it kept tripping our electric board and had to replace a heating element.They offered us no compensation for damage or anything and said go to AO.Get a decent brand and avoid these.

Good size poor lifespan

Electra were the only company making 1/2 and 1/2 fridge freezer fitting my kitchen. Was pleased with the small size but utilised all the available space. 3 years and 3 months later the motor started making unusual noises. No replacement motor available online. Very disappointing.Had to replace appliance with another makr, but this is a freezer drawer smaller.

Do not buy

Electra tumble dryer failed after 6 months , they arranged for an engineer to come and repair , I called to confirm in the morning to confirm they would be coming , they confirmed and then never turned up, couldn’t get through to them as they never answered the calls , never buy another one should have looked at the reviews before purchasing , lesson learnt

We bought an Electra WA1449CT1W_WH…

We bought an Electra WA1449CT1W_WH washing machine in November 2025. Having previously owned a similar model for over five trouble free years, the spin cycle eventually became noisy, so time for a replacement. The new machine came with an instruction book that bears little relationship to the machine. Apparently this washer does not want to wash and spin properly, it wishes only to save the planet using minimal water and electric. Having tried many of the programs, (those that do not take over half a day), I cannot get the machine to wash and spin in a reasonable time and do a good job. I am stuck with the thing for the moment, but I have a little caravan washer which works better. Do not buy this monstrous machine.

Do NOT buy an Electra dishwasher

Do NOT buy an Electra dishwasher! Apart from the fact that they are not fit for purpose, mine having broken down four times in a year and a half, the company who service repairs Pacifica, are one of the worst after sales company I have ever had dealings with. Pacifica have told me to go directly to Electra to complain but this is impossible as all complaints are directed to Pacifica!!!! I have actually lost the will to live!3

this is pertaining to Electra appliances that are made in Israel since it's illegal to write anything negative on Google or anywhere pertaining to Israeli appliances. just wanted to let you all know the Elektra washing machine brand new $700 they delivered it did not take the old one nor did they install the new one. which cause major water damage to my apartment on top of that ran one wash it's already broken there is no warranty and there is no customer service. just giving a heads up for anyone that is in Israel looking to purchase Electra appliances I would definitely go with all American appliances GE, Bosch, Whirlpool, LG, definitely not Electra. I've never seen such major shit in my life. thank you trust pilot for allowing me to post since it is legal to post or they don't take reviews or for that matter calls. take care God bless

Dangerous gas oven!!

The gas oven I bought a while ago is soooo dangerous as the flame randomly goes out and leaves the gas still on it’s done it ever since I’ve had it and it fills the kitchen with that sickly gas smell. I can’t wait to save up enough money to get rid and go back to having a stoves new Home one I’m surprised there is no other mention of this anywhere else online rubbish company and products don’t waste your money!
