Frustrating Experience with the Product

I had a frustrating experience with the stream deck mini. For $60, it seems to require an update every time I start up my PC, which takes an eternity. While it updates, it doesn’t work at all, forcing you to wait. I rate it 0/10 and plan to sell it at a loss.

Disappointing Experience with the Product

My new capture card was damaged after installing a specific software and running the update. I spent over a week communicating via email with customer service, providing photo and video evidence, and repeating my issue multiple times. Eventually, I was offered the option to return the product for a replacement. I requested a refund instead, which required another approval request. This process has been very slow, and at this rate, I may miss the return window. Having purchased many products from the company before, this experience is quite disappointing.

Terrible Overall Experience

I had a terrible overall experience! I ordered an item, but only half of it was delivered. When I inquired about the missing part, the order was only placed after I followed up. Mixed Feelings About the Company

I have mixed feelings about this company. They show potential but often fall short. Their marketing is excellent, and their products are visually appealing. However, the software is problematic and feels poorly designed. It may work temporarily, but changes to your network can cause significant issues. This is unacceptable for the price point. I’m willing to invest in quality, but after spending thousands on their gear, I am reconsidering my loyalty. Creators depend on reliable tools, and unfortunately, this company has not delivered consistently. While their products have potential, they are let down by the inadequate software interface.

Order Delays and Mixed Experience

I ordered a Stream Deck on December 1st, which was supposed to ship within a few days. While I received the free faceplate, the main unit didn’t ship as expected. After several days, I was informed it would ship on December 12th, but that day came and went without any dispatch. Now my order status shows it’s on backorder until 2026. This is unacceptable, especially since it was intended as a Christmas gift. I’m concerned about canceling the order since I might have to return the free faceplate and incur return shipping fees. Despite the initial issues, their customer service was responsive and managed to get the product delivered in time, so I adjusted my rating from 1 to 4 stars.

Caution Advised

Caution is advised. I purchased a ring light that worked well until it unexpectedly stopped functioning. To the company’s credit, they honored the warranty and sent a replacement after a lengthy process. However, the new product also stopped working. After thinking it over, I realized that my original warranty had expired by the time I contacted them again. Unfortunately, this means I’m out of luck. In summary, two different products had the same issue, and now I’m left with a defective item.

Inconsistent Product Quality

The products provided by the company often have defects. I purchased a set of battery-powered mini lights and cable-powered studio lights for over $1,000. After a year, the battery in one of the lights expanded and stopped working. Customer service was unhelpful, wasting my time and ultimately refusing to replace the item. Other products have also been inconsistent in terms of hardware and software support. I would recommend avoiding this company. However, after escalating my issue, they eventually sent a replacement light, which was time-consuming but showed they are making some effort with customer service.
