I made a booking error on my return flight from Lisbon to Barcelona. I called within minutes of the booking, and asked for a change to a later flight back as the time selected would give me less than 24 hours in Lisbon. It wasn’t like it was 3 hours later or even 24 hours later—it was exactly 2 minutes after I realized I booked the wrong date.It was shocking to hear that I still had to pay $110 to cancel, even though the mistake happened within just 2 minutes. It didn’t feel thoughtful or customer-friendly at all. I ended up booking through a different site, and I will never purchase from BudgetAir again. Thank you for showing how unfair your service can be in this kind of situation.I believe that for customers in situations like this, showing some basic consideration should be the minimum standard. I booked a flight and it said I could add my luggage at the end. I was never able to add my luggage, so 30 minutes later I wanted to cancel my trip. I contacted a representative and they told me my flight had already been booked and I couldn’t cancel it. I would never use this site again.
Simple booking process with decent fare margins. A little unnerving when no actual ticket number is provided on the confirmation though. During the online checkin process, despite the system showing us successfully checked in, we were instructed to proceed to the airport counter in order to get our boarding passes.
