Propably the worst company that exists. Non existent customer service, communication or support. No answering in emails, contact forms, telephone nothing. Ordered 2 batteries from "Netherland warehouse" if such a thing/place exist. Never received any update, tracking or anything relative. AVOID AVOID, Possible scam. If you try to buy do it through Paypal to have some protextion because refunding is also not easy.

Couldn’t be happier with the purchase of our 2) 460ah Epoch V2 Elite batteries! As fulltime boondockers, working remotely, we need to rely on constant power. These batteries have performed flawlessly and give us all the power we need. Working in conjunction with our Victron equipment and the ability to use Bluetooth to see individual cells for balancing has been a gamechanger! We’ve found our new “go to” batteries!
I have two 12volt V1 Elite 460 Ah batteries. The Epoch Battery Tech Support was very responsive to my phone calls in helping me design my system for RV boondocking and connecting to my Victron Cerbo GX. They answered all my questions about MPPT and Multiplus II charger float and absorption voltage settings, and clearly and guided me away from some bad ideas I had. The community ecosystem on Facebook is also a great resource for ideas and troubleshooting. Lots of folks use these batteries and it is great to see them installed on so many rigs. We've been boondocking over six months last year with our two v1 Elites and haven't had any problems. We had such a good experience that I bought two more 24 volt V2 Elite batteries for our solar powered electric boat. Highly recommend these batteries!
Unaware Epoch Batteries was moving to dealer only sales I purchased a 24v230a battery, charger, and mounting brackets through the website. I’m hopeful this won’t be an issue if I have any issues/warranty work. Shipping was timely but my order arrived without the mounting brackets though they showed as shipped and received. Contacted Epoch and they sent replacement brackets I’ve not received yet but have shipping confirmation. In the meantime I fabricated brackets and installed the brackets, battery, charger, and battery meter in my boat. The charger cord at 48” was 2’ short of what I needed for my install so I spliced in 24” per the local Epoch dealers recommendation. Battery was about 25% charged upon receipt and I don’t know how long the charger was working but the battery was 100% the following morning. First trip out today and ran my 24v Minnkota Terrova for 6 1/2 hours trolling in a 19 .5’ aluminum boat. Didn’t use the gas trolling motor at all - just the electric. Just about dead calm half the day and then choppy the rest - so minor amperage draw half the time the other half heavier draw. I think I might have bought more battery than I need as I had 75% capacity left when I finished up after trolling non-stop for 6 1/2 hours! Sure like the simplicity of a single battery for trolling motor power. This battery is huge and heavy so either buy the brackets or fab some up. My old lead acid batteries were strapped down and that worked fine but I do like the peace of mind of this battery being bolted down. Great product and unbelievable performance.
Update:I originally wrote a very angry review back in April 2025, at which time I had an awful experience with this company's support. I eventually got all the parts and got the mower mostly working (the battery gauge died within weeks of the installation and for some reason the mower only turns on after being plugged in momentarily), but I was frustrated by the mix-ups, delays, and difficulties I had with their staff. However, in January 2026 someone reached out to follow up with me, explaining that they'd gone through some growing pains as the business expanded, but were trying to follow up with anyone who wasn't satisfied. Within an hour they sent me a partial refund for my inconvenience, and promised to send a new gauge and instructions on installing it. It appears that Epoch is working on improving their service and support, and I appreciate the effort. I am hopeful that they keep it up!From my original review: I bought a kit to convert a Ryobi lawnmower, but it took over a month. The plusses: like others, I appreciate that my lawn mower is working again and has more power and pep. When installed, the kit is great and I’m really hopeful that it will last longer than the original lead acid battery set. Assuming that it doesn’t need to be replaced in a year or two, it should be more economical than relying on the short-lived (but expensive) lead acid batteries. But as others have discussed, the install is very complicated and the company provides little support. The best option is third party YouTube videos. There’s no way we could have done this on our own, and this conversion was only possible because we have a retired neighbor who has the skills and tools to do it and enjoys this kind of work. It not only requires a good understanding of electronics, but some very specialized tools. This is not a job for novices.
Bought an Epoch battery 120A - 51.2V and it has had ongoing problems since the start. Several attempts at getting support from Epoch have gone unanswered. They have an appointment on line system that only has openings one month from now which does not really help us. So, they are very fast and efficient at selling but abandon the buyer once the sale is done. Will never buy another product from this company and will advise everyone in our boating community to stay away from them. We would would also recommend anyone thinking of buying from Epoch to do the same.
