Review Time
Bought an Epson ET4950on 2/15/26. After setup tried the ADF. Paper from adf got stuck 10 straight times on top of grey undercarriage. Called support 3 days later. They asked for photos, but not of the area where paper stuck. After speaking to 6 support people not one gave any advice how to fix problem. All they were interested in was if the printer was covered by warranty. Brought back to seller & got full refund. Not only was hardware defective but their support was worthless.
We purchased the ET-3940 for printer to replace our standard black and white Brother printer hoping to Upgrade as this model is a color printer. SO DISSAPOINTED in our purchase. The ONE positive thing I can say is that the actual printed paper comes out nicely and the ink seems to last longer. However, I have way more negative opinions. Once you submit a page to print, it takes forever to reach the printers and then prints extremely slow! So don't think you can send to printer and be ready to grab and go. Expect a two-to-three-minute wait. This printer likes to disconnect from the Wi-Fi and is extremely hard to get reconnected. When you try to reconnect, I find that I get a message that says "printer is busy" or it likes to tell me that the Wi-Fi password is incorrect when I know and have triple checked it was entered correctly. Sometimes you can simply unplug the printer for 15 seconds and it will reconnect on its own, but often times this doesn't work. There is no rhyme or reason as to why the printer disconnects itself from the Wi-Fi as we have the best fiber optic available plus two Wi-Fi extenders and we have one extender in the same small office as the printer itself. Its not worth the price! I wish i would have stuck with the Brother printer and just purchased the drum it needed replaced.
Just avoid buying any product from this company. Clients support and their software updates are both a joke. I bought my printer XP 5105 for over £100 (such waste of money btw) and wasted several hours of trying to fix cartridges errors myself. The original Epson ink cartridges costs fortune and when I've updated new software saddly right after I could not use third party replacement ones as "new software" preventing me of using them (errors you cannot skip). I can't even print my work using only one black cartridge now, as system asking me to replace them all (telling me to add also colour ones for no reason). Basically my printer is useless now, only scanner left. I've checked reviews online and figured out that is so many people having problems with their products and clients support. Honestly I would not give them even this one star if I only could. Once you've purchased their product it seems like they don't care about you anymore. Never ever Epson for me.
I like my Epson 4100 series printer. I have had no issues. I do wish Epson would package their ink cartridges ( when you buy a 4 pack of one of each color) in a 2 black and 1 of sll the other colors. This being, you go through black more and faster than the colors....
I picked up two printers Epson et 2800 and something else Epson
i picked up three extra ink cartridge packages for the 2800 and more for the other
Epson excessed there app on the 2800 and blocked need axes to printer because i didn't by more Epson refills i already have five multeity Epson packages from office depot 02 07 2026 fantastic lesson i will not by any more Epson products .

One of the worst products ever made since manufacturing was born. EPSON is the worst disastrously hopelessly and unrepairably shit companies ever made. AVOID AVOID AVOID their product like the plague. Like COVID-19, like the swine flu. You would rather gert these viruses than have to deal with EPSON products. So horrendously bad it should be a crime.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! I purchased a brand new Epson Workforce 7310 Pro printer from Epson and I've had it a little over a year, it is still under warranty. I have not been able to use this printer for the past 5 months of that time because every time I call technical support, I'm taken through the same B***s**t troubleshooting facade for and issue where the printer is not recognizing the Epson ink. Finally now I was told that the ink I have were cartridges meant to initialize the printer. So the suggestion in to spend $70.00 on four standard cartridges that if that don't work will be replaced by the company; HuH !!!!!!! That doesn't make dog sense. THEY WILL BE NEW CARTRIDGES.I am truly pissed, but my reason for this post is to warn buyers to do your due diligence before you give these greed blood sucking technology companies or any other consumer base business, one red cent of your hard earned money.
The company attempted to impose a fee for updating my computer to enable the printer to connect properly. It’s outrageous to take advantage of those who may not be tech-savvy. I refused their service for a simple update that could be done with one click. I chose to discontinue their service and managed the update myself to connect the printer. For anyone who decides to pay for such a service, I sympathize; they shouldn’t be so insistent on charging.
If I could rate the customer support zero stars, I would, but that seems to come with a cost as well. I called for assistance, and rather than providing help, they immediately suggested sending a technician to my location, like a printer emergency service. There was no troubleshooting, no inquiries, just a focus on charges. Then came the endless hold music. Thirty. Minutes. Thirty. Excruciating. Minutes. Around the twelfth minute, I could have sworn I heard motivational quotes being shouted at me while smooth jazz played in the background. I’m not sure if it was real or if I just lost my mind. By the time someone finally picked up, I felt like I had aged significantly and achieved some sort of enlightenment, yet my printer was still out of order. The company didn’t address my issue but certainly aimed to address my wallet. Overall, a 10/10 experience if you enjoy confusion, loud imaginary voices, and paying for unresolved issues. I would not recommend it.
