Review Time
Been working with them for 15 years and have completed countless sales and millions of dollars worth of transactions.
Most of the issues come from people not following directions for verification. If you follow the directions, it is smooth sailing.
I recently worked with Hazel on a domain acquisition that closed over a three-day period, and I couldn’t be more impressed with how she handled everything from start to finish.
She was consistently available whenever I needed clarification, updates, or guidance. What really stood out was her follow-through — every single thing she said she would do, she did. No chasing, no guessing, no gaps in communication. She stayed proactive, followed up at the right times, and kept the process moving smoothly.
Domain transactions can sometimes feel uncertain or drawn out, but Hazel made it feel structured, transparent, and under control the entire time. Professional, responsive, and dependable — exactly what you want when acquiring a high-value asset.
Highly recommend working with her.
I strongly advise against using Escrow.com. They will hold your money for weeks under the status “Reviewing Your Payment,” with little transparency or urgency. During this time, funds are inaccessible, and the review process seems to drag on indefinitely.
The identity verification process is excessive and invasive. Over the course of weeks, they repeatedly requested additional documentation—first one item, then another, and then another. This included highly sensitive personal information such as a Social Security number, a copy of a driver’s license, and bank statements. At some point, you have to seriously question how much personal data you are willing to hand over and how secure it truly is.
In our case, the transaction stalled entirely due to payment delays and ongoing verification demands. What should have been a straightforward escrow process became unnecessarily stressful. Ultimately, we chose to cancel the transaction and complete payment via direct wire instead—which was resolved the same day.
If someone suggests using Escrow.com for a transaction, think very carefully before proceeding. The delays, lack of responsiveness, and level of personal information required make this service more trouble than it’s worth.
Stay away from this platform! I rarely leave reviews, but this experience has been incredibly frustrating. While it may not be a scam, the entire process is painfully slow. I initiated a transaction two weeks ago, thought everything was fine, wired the money, and then faced delays during their review. The transaction has been stuck at the "Reviewing Received Payment" stage. No matter what I do, it remains at the "Requires your Action" step. Communication is poor; updates come only when I reach out to the support team. They take 4-5 business days just to review a short document related to a Purchase Agreement. It feels like they could use AI for this. If there are issues with the document, I receive no notifications unless I specifically ask them why it’s taking so long. The status on the website never changes, which is incredibly confusing. After waiting another 3 business days, I had to check in again, and they asked if I was coming from another platform, suggesting I should have used their escrow process. Seriously? It took them 14 days to tell me that? I'm not trying to be negative, but their process is just terrible. I requested a refund, and now they say it will take a business day to consult with the seller and relevant team about my cancellation. I just want this to end quickly. Look for another platform; this one is not worth your time until they sort out their processes and website.
The refund process was excessively prolonged. My wire transfer seemed stuck for over a week. I had to continuously reach out to understand the delay. Ultimately, my refund was issued, but it was a frustrating experience. Aside from that significant issue, everything else was satisfactory. Just ensure your seller won't back out once your funds are with the service.
The refund process has taken far too long. My wire transfer seemed to be held up for over a week. I had to keep reaching out to understand the delay. Eventually, my refund was processed, but it was a painful experience. Aside from that major issue, everything else was fine. Just make sure your seller won't back out once your money is in the service.
We were buying a domain from an unfamiliar supplier, and there were risks at various stages, but the concierge service effectively addressed the issues and minimized the risks, leading to a successful transfer while assisting us throughout the process.
It's unfortunate to have to leave a 1-star review. The service is meant to facilitate seamless and secure transactions for buyers and sellers as a trusted third-party. However, I faced issues with the mishandling of my wire transfer for a vehicle purchase. Typically, a wire transfer is acknowledged on the same day, but it took them three business days to confirm receipt, and only after I provided the transfer receipt from my bank. Then, it took another three business days to return my funds. Due to this poor customer service regarding my funds, I won't be using them again in the future.
