We got six windows and a door installed in two days. From start to finish communication was top class. Jack in the showroom was very helpful and had good suggestions for the design of our large window. The installation team were focused on getting it right first time, and did an efficient and tidy job. Would definitely recommend Fairco.J&G Lynch
My Mum needed to buy a new front door . I did some research and found Fairco . They had consistently good reviews. So Mum and I headed to the Showroom in Deansgrange . She had browsed there website and had a good idea what she wanted . Jack helped us from start to finish . He was brilliant he understood what my Mum needed and made things seamless for her . She is thrilled with her New door . Mum and I would highly recommend Fairco .
Very happy with our windows and doors .Great workmanship very little disturbance too paint work .Very professional and great advice given when choosing our door and windows.Windows were put in first on the 25th March and door on the 9 th April(we had been told 6/8weeks before they would be fitted.We were quiet happy to waitWe would have preferred if all was fitted in the house on the same day or two.Delighted all is finished so we can sit back and enjoy our cosy warm home now.
The Installation team did a great job in replacing our windows and door. A very hard working team,and very pleasant lads. The house was left in very good condition as the team cleaned up afterwards. They even saved my bathroom tiles and kitchen floor tiles.Overall we had a great experience with Fairco from Paul, Peter and the team.I am very pleased with my new windows and door, and would be very happy to recommend Fairco
Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with Fairco when it came to replacing our windows. They had measurements wrong for one window and only realised after they had taken the old one out. They installed the window anyway and left the space in a very bad state - gaps to the outside which meant drafts coming in and this was in Janaury. They said they would not do any patch work here while we waited for the correct window because "they would just have to do it again". We had to live with this for 3 months and they had already recieved full payment as this is their policy. In addition, I had to keep calling to ask when could we expect the replacement to arrive - there was no proactive communciation from them. Even after the replacement window was fitted, the work is still not to the standard we would have expected (nails sticking out for example) but I'm done dealing with them at this stage. I was surprised as they had also replaced our door and did a great job there, due to this experience though I cannot recommend them to anyone.Updated to include comments from their reply: We signed off on the work as we had already paid in full, it had already taken 3 months to resolve this and we just wanted the job completed. With regards to the small corrective action - there was a large gap between the wall and window and still it took 3 weeks to fix even that.
Avoid!!! After being sold the white glove service by the sales man. We purchased new windows for our house and these windows were to have the soundproofing panel in them . I am actually baffled how this company is allowed to operate. I was in work on the day of installation and my Husband was working at home. The windows seemed to be installed very quickly except our Bedroom my husband noted they were at this window for a few hours. When they had finished my husband was on work calls but one of the man insisted he sign something as the man stated he could not leave without this signed making out this was not a big deal and all normal . My husband quickly signed (stupidly). The windows had not been checked yet. Long story short we have a big scratch across the window in box room. The amount of noise these windows let in is far far worse than our previous windows. Our bedroom window is totally off and the anthracite sealant was everywhere on the carpet the curtains which were on the bed. The new window sill that was installed around the bay window split and let all the rain into the breast and all the seal came away. The damage around the walls inside was just filled with silicone. When we contacted them thinking there would be a snag list and aftercare etc we got a blank email reply with just the document my husband signed. This company really is the pits.
