We visited the showroom and got some good advice. This helped us to decide quite quickly and with no fuss.
The guys that made the delivery Ty and Harvey were professional, quick and efficient. The entire delivery took about 10 minutes including unpacking, setting it up and taking away all the packing,excellent.
Having visited several outlets, we decided to check the online options and chose Mattressman as appearing to be the most comprehensive offering. We narrowed our search to those aspects we favoured and reviewed the list offered before settling on Arthur. It as well priced (half that of similar products in store) and it arrived on time following clear comms to ensure we were advised of the delivery window.
It was deposited in our hallway as expected along with the mattress protector to secure the 60-night trial.
We managed to manhandle upstairs and into the bedroom and deboxed it after some struggles. Once opened, it expanded as expected and we allowed it several hours to 'relax' before it was used. The first night was not a comfy as subsequent nights as I believe it needed more time to fully expand and release from being boxed.
After a week, we have both decided we like it a lot and don't expect we will be triggering the 60-night trial!
Should we need to, I don't think we would have any concern using Mattressman again or recommending the service to anyone else.
I bought a bed through Mattressman; divan, mattress, mattress protector and headboard. The quality of the bed was great, the price was good, but what really shined was their customer service.
Unfortunately there was several issues through the process where the headboard wasn't delivered to them by the manufacturer in time for the initial delivery, but they informed me the day before. No big deal, I respected the fact they informed me ahead of time.
The (external) delivery company who they used then made a mistake during the loading process and hadn't loaded the mattress onto the van when they delivered the divan and mattress protector. I was told over the phone at the time I would hear within 24-48 hours what was going on.
I wasn't, so I spoke to my contact at Mattressman, who chased up the matter and the very next day the delivery company were contacting me asking to schedule the delivery of the mattress.
Let me make it clear: I do NOT hold Mattressman accountable for the fact that the mattress hadn't been on the delivery van, and I understand mistakes happen from time to time - but they didn't let me down when the delivery company weren't prompt in keeping me informed. They showed that they can be relied upon in times like this. That is worth more than if there had been no mistakes at all.

Delivery men were great, got a call with a specific time a lot on delivery day and a call fifteen minutes before to say they were on their way. What more can you ask for!

Received updates regularly to let me know my order was on the way. Courier was very helpful and put my delivery in the room of choice no problem and removed the old one for me too.

I visited a mattress store in the area, starting from the top and saving the best for last. Every shop we explored, including one nearby, had mattresses that felt overpriced, leaving me unsatisfied with the value. The last stop was the mattress store, where we were warmly welcomed by the manager, who was busy assisting another couple. After browsing and testing a few beds, we were approached by a very helpful representative. He provided a wealth of information about the mattresses I was interested in and was incredibly patient as I deliberated between two options. He detailed the differences and guided me on which one would best suit my needs based on the issues I was facing with my current mattress. We even received an additional 10% discount on the price. My only letdown is the month-long wait for the mattress delivery. Other than that, the service was outstanding.
The mattress was delivered with great care, and the old one was removed as part of the purchase. After using my previous mattress for over 5 years, I decided it was time for a change. This new mattress is very comfortable, reasonably priced, and provides the essential support for my back, as it is medium-firm. During the first few nights, I slept soundly and felt pleased with my decision, which also includes a 60-night sleep trial and a separately purchased mattress cover.
I’m truly amazed! I placed my order yesterday at 11:45 AM, and it was delivered at 08:30 this morning. The support team was outstanding—they responded to my inquiries swiftly and effectively. The delivery team was friendly and helpful, efficiently handling the setup and recycling of my old mattress. I will certainly choose this service again!
