Yup, it's a SCAM. Couldn't believe it. I made an airline purchase which was about $100 less than all the other sites (promotion) so of course I did it. Just like all the other reviewers stated, the exact thing happened to me. They call you saying "no more seats available" at that price then tried to have me pay $600 for a ticket that is selling for $330 with many different airlines. They'll tell you they already have your money that you paid on your C/C and non-refundable. You can't cancel. They'll do anything to sell you a higher ticket. So basically you're either out of the money you purchased or you pay more than you would for the normal price you see online. So you're screwed either way. DO NOT, I REPEAT....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT IS A FRAUD COMPANY/SCAM. I wish I could have recorded the conversation with "Dustin" who clearly was from India or some country in that region. I'm still shaking my head that I fell for it. I did a comparison and this site came up as well as cheap tickets, priceline, kayak, etc....so I figured it was real. It's real alright...just real at taking your money. AGAIN, STAY AWAY. You've been warned.
Booked a "Deal" with Fareodaddy for flights, received a call stating Southwest Airlines changed their times and it would cost me an additional $590. Told them I would cancel that flight and find cheaper, she then "transferred" me to Southwest Airlines aka the guy setting beside her. He advised me that he works for Southwest and I can not cancel, if I do he would make sure I don't fly with Southwest for 6 months. Total Scam! Canceled transaction, southwest advised me I was scammed.
If I could put no stars I would. This company is a SCAM. They call you after they have given you a price on their website and then tell you one of the flights doesn't have seats and gives you a price double for the flight they couldn't get you seats on. Then when you want to just cancel they want to give you a credit less the taxes which are around $80.00. The credit is to use their company again. Even if you are looking at the website of the airline they will tell you that isn't the price they can get. DO NOT fall for this SCAM!!!
Received flight numbers and confirmation details, but when I attempted to check in 24 hours prior to my trip, the airline informed me that there was no booking made. The support team refused to issue a refund and hung up on me several times. This feels like a complete scam.
I had an extremely disappointing experience with this travel service. Just a week before my planned trip, they canceled my flight without adequate notice and, even worse, did not provide any refund. At no point did they make a genuine or responsible effort to ensure I was contacted before the cancellation. There was no confirmation that I had received or acknowledged any communication, which is completely unacceptable for something as crucial as international travel arrangements. As a customer, I entrusted this service with my money and travel plans, and they failed on both fronts. The lack of transparency, accountability, and customer support is highly concerning. Being left without a flight and without a refund just days before my travel caused unnecessary stress and financial loss. I cannot recommend this service to anyone. Travelers deserve reliability, clear communication, and ethical management of their payments—none of which I encountered here.
I used a travel service to book a flight with an airline for my family. They charged my card but only confirmed seats for my granddaughter and me, leaving my husband on standby. When I questioned this, they insisted that was all the airline could offer, despite the seat map showing available spots. They then quoted me an additional $600 to secure a first-class seat for him, which I refused since we wanted to sit together. After nearly two hours of back and forth, they ended up booking a different airline for me with a layover. I paid for checked bags and extra comfort seats, but received a basic ticket instead. Their claims about seat availability were misleading, and I later found I could have booked exactly what I wanted directly through the airline for less.
You book your flight thinking you got a really good fare, then they call you and state that the airline doesn't have any seats available at the rate, so to take that flight you have to pay more, even more than if you had just directly booked it with the airline. Because, no you can't have your money back, the "airline" already took that. It's a scam, I will never ever book with them again.
