I visited a local store on December 30, 2025, and had a very disappointing encounter with a staff member. I struggle with anxiety and depression and asked him twice for assistance in locating a product near the crowded checkout area. He showed no willingness to help, which made me feel ignored and overwhelmed. Fortunately, another staff member intervened kindly. However, the lack of professionalism from the first staff member triggered a panic attack as I left the store. This situation could have been avoided with better customer service, especially for those with mental health challenges. I hope the company invests in staff training to prevent similar experiences for others. Not recommended for anyone needing supportive service. 1/5 stars.

I've been a regular at my local store for years, always trying to be courteous. However, I've increasingly found the manager unhelpful. Today, she lied about not being able to unclip trolleys and acted unprofessionally, speaking about me to her colleagues in a derogatory manner. I asked a staff member for assistance with a bag of dog food from the top shelf, following the posted instructions. Instead of helping, the manager made snide remarks, which felt like bullying. I questioned her behavior, but she seemed offended. One staff member suggested I report her, and another was professional and helpful. I even intended to leave a Christmas hamper for the staff but felt discouraged by the manager's rudeness. After leaving, I contacted customer service because I felt uncomfortable shopping there, especially as a registered disabled person. It's disheartening to experience such discrimination and I hope for constructive feedback on how the manager can improve.

On my way to another town, I decided to shop locally. I went to the store but realized I didn’t have a trolley token and only had a small amount of cash. The shop was empty, and when I asked if they could provide a token, I was told no. I ended up going to another store that readily offered a token with a smile. It was disappointing, especially since it was my first visit to this new location. I doubt I will return.
I recently started shopping at this store and now visit at least once a month to stock up my freezer. They have an impressive selection of frozen foods, including lamb, fish, beef, and vegetables. I'm particularly delighted with their ice cream flavors. I wish I had discovered this supermarket sooner and I now highly recommend it to my friends, family, and colleagues.
I prefer not to leave negative feedback because the store sometimes offers great deals on short-dated snacks and treats. However, I must raise an issue regarding their fresh milk. I've been tempted by the price, but it often spoils before the sell-by date, which has happened multiple times. In contrast, milk from larger supermarkets lasts well beyond the date. I wonder if this is a localized issue or something more widespread.
