Dishonest and inconsistent communication

Delayed and inconsistent communication, frequent contradictions. Openly lied on two occasions, but politely. Using a different email address than my claim submission as my concerns were dismissed when I pointed out the dishonesty and I don't wish to be contacted further.

Terrible Experience with Fast Travel Insurance - Unprofessional and Misleading

I had the misfortune of using Fast Travel Insurance recently, and I must say it has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever encountered with an insurance company. Not only have they ruined their reputation in my eyes, but their entire process is designed to frustrate and confuse customers.First and foremost, Fast Travel Insurance operates under two separate entities—Fast Cover Pty Ltd and Lloyd’s Australia Limited. This dual-entity structure is incredibly misleading. It creates unnecessary confusion and makes it impossible to figure out who is responsible for what. Instead of providing clarity and transparency, they’ve structured things in such a way that customers are left in the dark, unable to know who to contact or hold accountable when things go wrong.But the real problem started with their Insurance Dispute Process (IDP). I followed the entire process, step-by-step, and it was clear from the start that the system was stacked against me. The process was nothing short of dodgy—slow responses, a complete lack of professionalism, and inconsistent information at every stage. It felt like the entire process was intentionally designed to frustrate, delay, and ultimately deny claims, rather than resolving issues in a fair and efficient manner.The customer service I received was abysmal. Every interaction I had with their representatives was unhelpful, dismissive, and lacked any real answers. The communication was cold, impersonal, and showed no genuine effort to resolve my issues. I felt like I was just another number in the system, rather than a customer who deserved quality service.Overall, my experience with Fast Travel Insurance has been extremely disappointing. They clearly do not prioritize their customers and operate under a structure that makes resolving issues nearly impossible. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid using their services, as they do not live up to the standards that any reputable insurance company should maintain. I’m now taking my business elsewhere and sharing my experience with others to ensure they are fully aware of the issues with Fast Travel Insurance.

Totally ignored 2 Doctors written …

Totally ignored 2 Doctors written reports ,advice and medical certificates . Fast cover decided without ever seeing my knee or caring for me for the past 7 weeks, that their apparent medical team , who no ones who they are ,knew better and could overrule one of the best knee specialists in the country possibly even the world. ..Fast cover booked me on a cheaper flight that would not cover the requirements set out by 2 doctors.I had paid $4000 for comprehensive ski cover insurance and unlimited cover. They lied and did not honour their policy..Why pay insurance?Don't use FastCover. Had to travel home after knee damage that was done during a ski accident ,in a premium economy seat where my knee was bent the whole way , under Dr's orders I was to have it straight 15 hour plus flight and 8 hour drive home after that. I honestly cried the whole way home from pain and hence lack of sleep. Thank God for the beautiful,kind ,considerate air line hostess's that tried to console me.

Sad Experience of Lost Holiday

Although we were travelling within Australia the holiday I booked (flying to Bass Strat Islands) was expensive so I took out cover for the four days of the tour. We are aged 73 and 79 but I did not list Sciatica as a pre-existing condition as it didn’t occur to me it would prevent us from going. The night before we were to leave my husband had to go into hospital because of extreme pain so we missed the flight and lost our money. Fast Cover asked for our doctor’s records and found the word sciatica mentioned last year so they would not give us any compensation for losing an $8,000 holiday. The insurance was a waste of money as it cost a lot to cover four days.

Avoid Using this insurance company. You will lose money. after looking up all the review. everyone saying they have best experience just by applying the insurance. try claim, you will regret every mint of your life. definitely not genuine feedback here . poor system.

Claim cancelled after submitting documents. Talking to 2 companies at once. INFRUIATING.

I have honestly in my life never been more filled with white hot rage than I have been with the claims process from Fast Cover. Submitted a claim for a broken shoulder. After 3 weeks I got a reply from a third party asking for additional documents (completely fair, I left something out). I gave over the docs and was told they were received and that I should wait another 10 days. Fast forward 3 weeks pass and I'm now being told by the third party that I need to submit more documents (all things I have already I provided to fast cover orignally) at the exact same time I am ALSO being told by Fast Cover that my claim has been cancelled for not submitting documents.. I am really holding my tongue when it comes to how I would actually like to express my feelings about this, but suffice to say I am ropable. It is pathetic that 2 companies can have such little communication and we as the customers pay the price of the ineptiude. As a traveler living paycheck to paycheck, to be without this claim money for so long has made my in foreign country so much more difficult. It is actually the height of irony that they call them selves FAST cover...
