We found a property via Zillow our realtor helped us in contacting feder, we had our concerns and our realtor assured us she has dealt with them so we trusted them. It has been over 30 days and we have not received our refund. Has anyone here received theirs or has anyone’s sued them ? Edit: responding to federaAlthough federal is stating my issue was resolve I still do not see the money back in my account. I have recordings of every call of them saying it will be resolved within the week and I still don’t have my money.
Called multiple times as well as texted to receive information about a listed auction on a foreclosure property.Never received contact on any level.Stayed on phone call hold for over 1 hour with no answer and no return text message.One week later, I noticed the auction listing had been removed 1 day prior to auction per Realtor.com.I truly hope people are smart and do not use this "company" for anything.
Federa home app is a scam. I bid $185,016 on a home and they said I lost, "Reserve not met". I found out the next day the home sold at a legit auction for $177,800. This occurred on May 14,2025. I am still waiting on my deposit refund as of May 23. My credit card company is investigating and I finally received my refund May 29th.
They scammed be for 10,000 don’t call for it too. This is my second review they tried to get the first one removed do not deposit a dollar I’ve been trying to get my money back for over a month. It is not because of their update they do this to everybody year around!!
Multiple reviews warn that they do not return deposits in a timely manner. They say it can take up to 30 days. However my $10,000 deposit is still not returned and it has been over 30 days. Be warned that you may need to keep following up and may not get your deposit back. Hopefully I'll get it back soon.
This is a scam. Do not put your money here — you will lose it. They never refund your deposit.I trusted this process because the property was listed on the MLS, thinking it was legitimate. But after making me wait over 30 days for a refund, they stopped answering calls and emails.I’ve been on hold for over an hour, multiple times, and no one ever answers. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.People need to be aware — do not trust this company. I’m already taking further action.
