Purchased 2 mains powered smoke alarms in 2023
Internal battery now failed and unit chirping despite replacement sticker indicating 10 years 2033. Fire angel customer service says this unit was manufactured in 2022 I cant find my screwfix invoice, they only go back 18 months. Fire angel wont budge even though they know their producte have premature battery failiers
Will be ripping these rubbish bits of crap out altogher and looking for somthing else
Avoid Fire angel.....you have been warned.

Remarkable support for a faulty smoke alarm

After encountering issues with my smoke alarm after three years, I reached out to customer support. I’m glad I did! After speaking with a representative, I received a code for proof of purchase, which allowed me to email the receipt. A few days later, another representative informed me that a replacement smoke alarm was on its way. Excellent service from everyone involved!

Exceptional support from a representative.

Fantastic support from a representative! I called about a smoke alarm that malfunctioned after a year. The representative informed me that since the battery should last until 2035, they would arrange for a replacement once I provided a receipt. I emailed it the same day, and within an hour, I received a friendly and apologetic email confirming that a new smoke alarm was on its way. This is what I call outstanding customer service. Thank you!

Poor online advice

The online customer advice and product compatibility information were severely lacking. I ended up purchasing incompatible products based on incorrect guidance.
