I reached out to flashrouters support with a question during setup and was pleasantly surprised. Instead of a generic reply, they actually explained what was going on and why certain settings mattered. That made the whole process much less frustrating.
The router itself has been running smoothly since. It's not the cheapest option out there , but between the stability and the support, it feels like a good long term purchase.

Used this company about 5 years ago - great, router was spot-on. Went back a to them recently for the new Privacy Hero II router and it was absolute garbage. Literally died on the second day of use due to too much traffic on their hosting site. Once that was fixed it ran for a further week before the device died completely. Support was useless, nearly as bad as this trash router.Will not use again.
I recently purchased and returned “Privacy Hero” router from Flashrouters that was advertised to be the best to work with NordVPN. After configuring and thoroughly testing my speed dropped from over 500 to less than 90 mbps. That was tested while connecting directly to my laptop using cat 5e. Cable Even with VPN and all other security services disabled I could not get close to 500 mbps while testing WiFi. The box looks and feels cheep. And to add insult to injury I had to pay shipping to return it. Total scam.

They arranged for an online TeamViewer session in less than 24 hours to ensure my 3 ASUS FlashRouters were online and operational with NORDVPN. I commend my FlashRouters Tech Support Agent who was both emotionally intelligent and supportive, successfully resolving and educating me on my issues. I would highly recommend FlashRouters for all you router and associated tech support needs!
