I booked flights for Thanksgiving, selecting the best option for us from the Flights Nest website. I received a call the next day saying the fares had gone up. I went ahead and booked with Flights Next, paying the higher fare, which was just a bit lower than what I could get directly from the airline.Yesterday I book flights for Christmas, selecting the best option from the Flights Nest website. Again, I received a call the next day saying the fare had increased by $700 (four seats). I asked if this was their schtick—show a good price on the website then call and say the prices had gone up. This time, I didn't book with them, and we just tickets for less directly from the airline.Maybe this was an unfortunate coincidence and they can generally obtain the fares shown on their website, but two times in a row was too much. I won't be using Flights Nest again.
