Was told that deposit would be returned within 30 days. I moved out on Dec 20th... It's now feb 10th and still nothing. I have chased on numerous occasions, and even though they've replied saying they're working on it, there's still no deposit return.
I know I'm not the only person who's had this issue too. I have had 3/4 friends move out the same block with the EXACT same issue.

I’ll highly recommend getting accommodation through fllat. Had the best experience, all luxury amenities, super quick maintenance and super easy move-in. Husyar was my contact @fllat and made it very easy for the initial documentation.
I've been really happy with my experience living here. The apartment itself is clean, well-maintained, and has everything I need. The space is comfortable and functional, which makes it easy to settle in and feel at home.What really makes the difference though are the roommates – everyone is friendly, respectful, and easy to get along with. It's been great having people around who are considerate and create a positive living environment. The whole vibe of the place just works.Overall, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a solid living situation. It's been a great experience so far and I'm glad I ended up here.
I visited the NY location. Knowing that Times Square is within a 5-minute walk from you is exceptional! Amazing location in NYC. Even though the building is old, it is renovated professionally, and the great staff there helps you with any questions you have.I highly recommend it here if you want to have a memorable stay during your visit to this gorgeous city. 🌆
⚠️ WARNING: DO NOT RENT FROM Flat.com or Agent “Ciara”This company is a scam. We signed a lease through Fllat.com, stayed current on all payments, and provided everything required. Suddenly, they voided our lease without notice because they fell into bad standing with the apartment complex.As a result, my daughter—a college student—was abruptly forced to move out, and I had to travel back to New Orleans to help her relocate.Here’s what you need to know:They collect your payments but do NOT pay the apartment complex, which can lead to eviction.They will cancel your lease without warning, even if you’re fully paid up.There are clear signs of fraudulent activity.If you see any listings from Fllat.com, Padsplit, Square Room, or any platform under their name, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Avoid this company and the agent “Ciara” at all costs.Protect yourself—find another way to rent a room.
Terrible platform, illegal operations... not returning people's deposits, customer service is nonexistent, seems like just robots writing the same jingle over and over again. NO phone number to address customers' concerns. Whatever you save with them, you will waste on legal fees. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!
