I booked Gatwick to Bangkok with Norse mainly because they had the best price—and I’ll admit, I was a bit sceptical as I’d never flown with them before. After paying, I heard a few negative comments and thought, “Well, that’s reassuring… but the tickets are booked, so off we go.”
Honestly, I think people can be a little dramatic with bad reviews—sometimes expectations don’t match the price paid. My experience with Norse was excellent. The legroom was better than British Airways and genuinely comparable to Emirates. The crew were friendly, professional, and consistently helpful—no sour faces, no attitude, just good service.
You’re clearly told at booking that meals are an extra cost, which was absolutely fine for a cheaper fare. I did buy meals, and they were genuinely great. Overall, Norse delivered serious value for money, and I’ll be flying with them again.

After booking and paying for the flight, I haven't received any booking confirmation email or the booking code - just nothing! I see the charge on my bank statement. It's impossible to either check in or cancel the flight without the booking reference. Reached out to the company via their chatbot, got no response.
Never ever did this happen to me before with any airline, including the low-cost! This is appalling, incredible that they are legally operating.

Shocking BAD!
Plane filthy with previous persons belongs still on seat.
Had pre ordered food and was told I had not so had no choice but to pay for inedible crap or go 13hrs without a drink.
Staff are rude and cannot be bothered to do anything for you.
The meal comes out fast if you're getting one and thats pretty much the last time you'll see an attendant as they are permanently behind their curtain, unless by chance you meet one in the aisle where you will get shoved out of the way by them.
Flatly refused to take my empty coffee cup telling me the bin is at the front of the plane if I need it.
BS airline i can't begin to imagine how they would ever manage an emergency!

We travelled to the Caribbean on Norse Atlantic on 31st January and had a great experience. The flight was chartered by P&O and I had no issues whatsoever. Plenty of free food, soft and alcoholic drinks and a free bottle of water was waiting for me on my seat. Staff were extremely polite and couldn't do enough for us. I'm not sure if any of this was due to P&O but I would definitely use Norse again.

Had I bothered to read all the negative reviews I would not have booked with Norse.
However, we flew premium economy to Cape Town and got away with it. Our outbound flight was delayed by one hour because they had lost a crew member. The in flight service and food, while not up to BA standard was adequate.
My only real complaint was the return leg which was a day time flight when they came round with the drinks trolly and served curry at 10 in the morning and then we had to wait 8 hours for the next food service which was 'breakfast!'
Seems they need to get their act together. Would I book again 🤔

Our outbound flight Gatwick to Orlando was delayed by two hours for technical fault. Disappointing but understandable. Cabin crew were excellent and flight as comfortable, or otherwise. as economy normally is. I was surprised by the reasonable cost of food and drink bought on board. Return flight provided by Air Tanker. Economy only, but that was ok for us. Must have been annoying for those who'd paid for premium. On time and the cabin crew were outstanding.
If you're thinking of going Norse, book economy and go with cabin luggage only. It will be the cheapest flight by far. However, be aware that they have a small fleet, so cancellations and delays are more frequent than legacy airlines.

SCAM OF AN AIRLINE. SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. Booked a return flight to the caribbean. Without telling us they changed our return flight cutting the 2 week time down to just over a week. We only noticed the change 2 or 3 days before travel. The link they provided to contact them did not work. They did not respond to any emails until 1 hour before travel by which time we'd had to book with another airline. They refused to refund the flight because apparently we'd missed the window to contest the change in our return flight. After hours and days of trying to get some recompense they promised credit towards another flight with them which has never materialised and they now fail to even respond. So not only £1000+ down the drain but also really spoiled our anniversary experience, our holiday and caused lots of stress and anxiety. PROFESSIONAL THIEVES. NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. Thought we were the only ones until I saw this thread. Horrible people

Flew Norse from LGW and had an amazing experience, they didn’t up charge or played games with us, gave us exactly what we ordered.

All flights were cancelled due to the storm and we were almost the only ones flying.

Horrible experience. My flight was delayed and then canceled from Gatwick to JFK back in October. Following the cancellation, there app was not registering the flight number and wouldn’t let any passenger rebook, resulting in panic and rebooking at much higher prices with different airlines or airports at our own expense. I have reached out to Norse multiple times over 14+ weeks and received nothing regarding refunds and compensation. DO NOT fly with Norse - if anything goes wrong, you will never receive compensation.

We traveled with Norse from Stockholm to Bangkok in their premium seats. The experience was absolutely incredible! The service was fantastic and the trip went so incredibly smoothly! The plane was quiet and comfortable as were the seats. They took care of our 3 year old daughter when she had problems with a previous wound with a plaster even though it was very close to departure. I can highly recommend this airline that keeps prices down and lives up to good standards! Thank you Norse!
