I’ve been a customer for over 8 years, mostly without any complaints. My contract was up for renewal and the quote I received from the Flogas team seemed a little high. I asked Calor for a quote and they responded with a very fair competitive quotation which I accepted and signed all the contracts. I also contacted the Flogas team to say sorry their quote was too high. I received no response. Calor processed things which involved contacting Flogas and things seemed to be settled. However I received an email from Abdullah H with a new, favourable quote, explaining they were sorry I had chosen Calor but I could change my mind with no repercussions if I choose. Following a conversation with Abdullah H I did change my mind and decided to remain with Flogas. This is completely due to Abdullah approach, no pressurised sales techniques just calm reasoning and facts. Pity the other Flogas team were less customer focused. Thank you Abdullah.

Utterly unacceptable service! My elderly mother has been struggling since her move.

Utterly unacceptable service! My elderly mother relocated to her new residence three months ago, which has an LPG tank in terrible condition. As a new customer, she should have received a brand new tank. She hardly uses any gas since she prefers a cooler environment, having been accustomed to coal fires. An engineer arrived unexpectedly, claiming she wasn't using enough gas and needed to inspect for a leak. He identified an issue with the tank and charged her for both labor and parts! What are the standing charges for then? The website states that the company is responsible for tank maintenance and repairs! The engineer pressured my elderly mother into getting it repaired, costing her a few hundred pounds, and then threatened that they might need to dig up the driveway, suggesting she should start saving for potential thousands in costs! It appears they send these engineers out to intimidate customers into unnecessary repairs and question their gas usage. As her Power of Attorney, I will ensure the tank is removed completely and a heat pump is installed instead! She is too unwell to deal with the stress caused by this situation!

Challenging Winter Deliveries in Rural Wales

Living in a remote area above the snow line presents unique challenges for deliveries during Winter. When my faulty telemetry gauge indicated a significant drop in fuel, I reached out to the support team. They were exceptional and arranged for a delivery the next day. Unfortunately, heavy snowfall made the roads and my access track impassable. It took a few attempts, but finally, the delivery driver expertly navigated the conditions. He has been delivering to my location for years and is always friendly and respectful, making every effort to ensure the delivery reaches me safely. Overall, the service has been outstanding in addressing my concerns over the years. The faulty telemetry gauge is set for repair, and in the meantime, we’re staying warm thanks to the successful LPG delivery.

Two Years of Good Service with a Recent Price Hike

I have been with this provider for 2 years and the service has been quite satisfactory. However, the renewal price increased by 20%. I spoke with a representative who was able to negotiate a more reasonable rate, allowing me to happily renew for another 2 years. It's unfortunate that there isn't more competition in the bulk LPG supply; in my area, the choices are limited to just this company or another.
