Review Time
Clothing is made in very odd shapes that do not fit the body. I wish I would have never ordered from here because now I am put $27 just to return and then have to buy again with store credit. Also customer service is VERY condescending and not helpful. Not a company I'd ever like to support again.
I ordered boots from them. When I got the boots, I noticed that the box was some weird cheap brand I never heard of that had nothing to do with alternative fashion. They don't mention that on the ad page. They just order a bunch of cheap stuff from China and hike the price up when they slap a "gothic" name (like "Graveyard boots" for regular black boots) on the item to get money out of people like us and when they sell out of it, they take it off the website completely and they move on to the next cheap thing. Deceitful.
It's kind of weird they don't have any other place to review their clothes on the site. How do they expect to improve? I ordered a pair of overalls and the picture made it look like they were long. Foxblood doesn't put the models' heights or sizes, so it looked different on the model. I know I shouldn't have assume that, but the model actually looked like me.Second, I worse the overalls one time and they ripped in the crotch. I've ordered overalls from Amazon that did the same thing, but they were much cheap and felt cheap, which makes sense for them to rip. But the material with FB felt quality, so I never expect it to rip. Maybe after a few washes. Heck, I had even ordered a size up to prevent the tearing and lol.I'm thoroughly disappointed with them because they were one of the very few alt stores that has my size.
As much as I like Foxblood's stuff, I don't plan on ordering from them anymore. Like previous reviews said, the sizing isn't consistent and the quality isn't always good. Today I wore my bolero for the second time and one of the arms literally ripped at the seam. For the prices people pay the construction should be better.
I ordered from them the end of February, the package said it should’ve been here March 1st. Well the package never showed up I’ve been in contact with them multiple times just horrible horrible customer service. Now apparently one of the items i previously ordered magically became out of stock once “UPS lost my package” but the items never scanned and they refunded me for the one top that was out of stock which I REALLY wanted. Screw this company. I wish I would’ve read reviews before giving them my money.
This rating is based on customer service. Basically there isn’t any. You can email them all you want but don’t expect them to get back to you. I had concerns about an order that was taking longer to arrive than ever and USPS was telling me they never had the package. I emailed 5 times. Never a response. It did finally arrive (after 14 days). The clothing is wonderful. Sizes are usually spot on. Wash well and last. Clothing gets 4 stars. But as I said if you have an issue. Don’t expect help I guess.
Foxblood quality has gone down hill since i started purchasing in 2020. Sizing is not consistent. I can be an xl one day and a med the next. Stitching looks poor, and they're now selling tons of add-on's that are incredibly cheaply made. I generally have bought their stuff used on thrift type sites because its not worth full price.
When I received my Moto Jacket, it had innumerable threads left which hadn’t been cut and looked ragged, the lining of the jacket had been sewn incorrectly to the collar causing an uncomfortable bulge, some of the pieces of the garment were fraying away due to not being overlocked or hemmed, and the pocket zipper was broken and stuck shut.I contacted Fox Blood and the response was:“We try to make as best of a quality control as we can, but unfortunately sometimes we miss an item.Hopefully issues like this will not happen with your future purchases.”In other words, “better luck next time”.A garment should be ready to wear at time of purchase. Not falling apart.
I wish I could give them zero stars. Customer service is awful, if you have any questions don’t bother asking, these girls are too busy socializing on their social media to help you with anything. Their return policy is pretty shady, I guess not really shady but very beneficial for them and not the customer. If you return anything they will only give you store credit and will not cover shipping. They advertise as size inclusive but they stock way more straight sizes than plus sizes and their sizing runs a bit small. Just not really a business I think I’d like to deal with again.
Foxblood is a very disorganized has deceitful marketing practices. I don't wish to be your customer anymore! Shopping with you online was not enjoyable and extremely stressful. It's not your customer's fault if you have failed to test your website's defects before making it available for public use . Next time, don't go live and better if you close shop. You are not well-prepared and ill-equipped to handle international sales! They made a false claim on their website about duties and taxes already included in the cost of items for international customers, but that wasn't true. Beware of this unscrupulous company. About their products? It's inferior! Don't waste your money. Boycott this company. Also, please boycott their fraudulent sister company "My Violet" and all their cohorts.
