Power Director 2026 does not support mp4 conversion to gif, does not open hevc videos, recognizes webm videos as sound. I've bought another video editor and does all these flawlessly. Avoid this scam at all costs. I've wasted my money on this. If i find other issues i will let you know.
Cyberlink video director works most of the time for me but there new features with AI and having to pay out for credits is a money making racket. Not only that but there AI features are crap and out of date, take music creator all it does is make a tune out of what you ask, no inputting your own lyrics, no choosing instruments, no picking models, no picking key changes, no audio to midi, no stem splitting the list goes on and on. They just can't keep up with Suno, moises etc I am thinking of cancelling my subscription soon.

I refused, as I had already lost more than an hour with their f*d-up process. As everyone else states, this company is maddening and unethical. Customer support ABSOLUTELY SUCKS AND IS USELESS! Products are sub-par given the technology today. Even after I cancelled my annual subscription, they charged me anyway and now, even though they tell me I qualify for a refund, they are doing anything and everything to make the refund process impossible. Every time they give me a hoop to jump through, I jump through it, but that only leads to another hoop. I still have not received acknowledgement of my refund .
I subscribed the MyEdit but found it is very difficult to use,so I asked for refund immediately. the CyberLink agreed with my request, but now, i never get my refund,the case happened for a month and a half. I try to contact with the customer service, and just get a robot reply everytime.
