Perfect team, perfect operating system, perfect customer experience.
I will be honest; the hardware isn't perfect, but there's still no better option for laptops than this. I'm extremely picky and rude but they made it impossible for me to comment anything negative.
I have all my trust in this company and they'll help you instantly with anything you need.
I went with Tuxedo a year ago and I'm not seeing myself anywhere else in the future.

I recently had an experience with Tuxedo Computers that was quite mixed. On one hand, Fernando provided outstanding customer service and was incredibly helpful in resolving the issue with my RAM. However, the experience was somewhat dampened by the manager’s decision not to cover the additional cost of the more expensive Kingston Fury RAM, which ended up being about €123.02 more than my original plan to purchase a cheaper Crucial RAM kit. While I appreciate that the problem was ultimately resolved and Fernando was a star, I do feel a bit forced into this more expensive option, which was not my initial choice. It felt a bit like a compromise, and that’s why I’m giving a 3-star rating. In summary, the customer service was great, but the overall experience was slightly frustrating due to the additional expense and the pressure involved due to my unforgiving deadline (new build, planned a month ago, not in the last minute right before RAM shortages).I hope that in the future, their customer service, especially on the managerial side, will improve and become more empathetic, especially under Christmas Eve.Regards,Carlo
### Tuxedo Linux computers only work on Windows and support won’t helpI bought a laptop from Tuxedo Computers Gmbh, specialized in “linux first” computers.I’m really trying to avoid GAFAMS and support EU businesses, so it was a perfect match. Here is my terrible experience.### Laptop works on Windows but not LinuxThe problems below are present on all combinations of linux distros, kernel version and drivers, using Tuxedo WebFAI or vanilla distributions. When using Windows and the XMG drivers, it works flawlessly. That proves that it’s a software issue, and returning the computer for repair won’t help.- Built-in screen going (and staying) black for many reasons: - pc going to sleep - using hdmi external screen (with mux in hybrid mode) - at random- Cpu crawling at < 1Ghz, requires charger unplug/replug (bug from tuxedo control center)- Battery not charging (420W charger) after changing settings in control center, had to clear CMOS- Low fps over HDMI on Wayland- Bluetooth drops when using 2 to 4 xbox controllers- USB-C charging only works when the computer is shut down. Not very useful.### Support lie, won’t help, won’t refund- Their support never acknowledged the issues and pretend they can’t reproduce.- They take days to answer, and never answer all the questions.- They only keep you busy by asking logs and don’t provide actual support.- They say that a refund is “impossible” (I’m not aware that Tuxedo is bankrupt, though).- No solution was provided whatsoever.- They eventually suggested to return the computer for investigation, which makes no sense, as that will not help with linux driver issues.### XMG Hardware = Tuxedo HardwareContrary to what their markting says, these two systems have exactly the same hardware, firmware and bios (appart from the boot logo). The “windows drivers” provided by Tuxedo are identical to the drivers provided by XMG.- Tuxedo Stellaris 7 + Aquaris watercooling (sold by Tuxedo)- XMG Neo E25 + Oasis watercooling (exact same hardware, sold by Schenker XMG)I hope this post helps you dodge a bullet.
I am extremely disappointed with TUXEDO’s customer service and after-sales support.I ordered a replacement charger on October 30th. The shipment never arrived, and UPS marked the package as lost. According to UPS tracking and the screenshots I received from their system, the claim was approved for payment, with the only remaining issue being a documentation problem on TUXEDO’s side.I sent this information to TUXEDO multiple times, including screenshots clearly showing the status. However, my emails were repeatedly unanswered or the information I provided was ignored. Instead of acknowledging the UPS status, I kept being told that they were still waiting for reimbursement from UPS, which is an issue between TUXEDO and UPS—not the customer. What made this experience even worse is that TUXEDO only asked me to sign a statutory declaration after almost a month, even though this is a standard step that could have been requested immediately when the package was confirmed lost. This delay caused unnecessary waiting and left me without a working charger for weeks.During this entire period, my laptop was unusable. For an item worth around €90, the level of delay, lack of ownership, and poor communication has been unacceptable. This has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I have had.I previously wrote a very positive review about TUXEDO and their customer support, but after this experience, I have completely changed my opinion. A good product is meaningless if the company cannot provide basic and timely support when something goes wrong.Based on this experience, I cannot recommend TUXEDO, and I will seriously reconsider purchasing from them again.
A follow up to my review of a couple of months ago concerning a Tuxedo Stellaris. After having replaced the power socket, the laptop kept working although noisily, and now it doesn’t switch on again. The quality of these products is incredibly poor given moreover their high price. I will now throw it away after three years of use full of annoying issues, and hope to be luckier with my next device. If you are considering buying a Tuxedo, don’t. I hope this review will help other customers to stay away from this company.
Through my own mistakes, the organisation I had arranged to forward the laptop from Tuxedo was terrible (NZPost). It ended up sitting in the UK for a month before we could find a solution. The team at Tuxedo were fantastic, even thought the fault was entirely my own. They had all manner of suggestions, even arranging to courier it back to Germany at their own cost (though that was not allowed by the forwarding company). Now I have the laptop, and it has quickly become my daily computer for all Linux work.
I decided to go with a Tuxedo Infinity Book Pro 14 Gen 10 over a mainstream model with the hope to have a smooth and optimised Linux experience. The laptop was built faster than expected and shipped overseas without any trouble. A small disappointment was that it didn't come fully encrypted, although that was requested and re-confirmed on the day of the order. However, the re-installation of Ubuntu with full encryption via provided USB stick/ WebFai was quick and easy. The machine itself is very well made, has a feel of quality, very good keyboard, fantastic display (3k variation) and most importantly - runs Tuxedo Linux without any problems. Tuxedo OS includes a sensible selection of applications and adds very useful control over the power profiles and features of the machine. One issue happened a few weeks later, the SSD was suddenly not recognised anymore. While dreading a repair cycle, I contacted the support who replied very fast and gave me the choice of either sending it in or trying out a few things myself. The idea was that the SSD might have lost contact and indeed, following their detailed instructions, reinserting the SSD solved the problem. I greatly appreciate that the support was encouraging to self-repair and had no problem to confirm the guarantee while doing so. The experience was not completely free of issues, and having to tinker with the Laptop might no be comfortable for everyone. However, my 5 star review is based on a Laptop that met all expectations and a stellar customer support, that had a genuine interest in solving the problem - which is rare to find these days
