Surely there are better options to this, I am trying to claim for damage to a school iPad bought directly from wriggle learning who also sold me the policy, I have been redirected to a company called the Davies group who have tried to get out of paying on the policy at every opportunity. Gadget insurance don’t want to know as they seem to only collect money and are not interested in claims. Davies group have an automated helpline that is useless at best. After receiving some emails each Saturday afternoon I eventually got to speak to a lady with barely any English who kept referring me to when I took out the policy and the conditions, I then spoke to a lady who told me they had no record of my order and wriggle wouldn’t share the information with the Davies group. I phoned wriggle who told me the Davies group were given all the information on the date the policy was taken out and gave me an order number, I have now received yet another automated email saying they have no record of this order number. When I sent a receipt from wriggle with the order number the first thing I got back was a request for payment of the excess of 50€. Weeks after claiming on this so called policy I am no nearer to having the iPad repaired in time for the return to school.The claim reference is WHIRO14717.AVOID AT ALL COSTS and take out a policy with a reputable company insteadUPDATE, the Davies group now want me to post the iPad to their repairer at my expense despite the policy saying a courier would collect it. AVOID AVOID AVOID
