The plants arrived well packed, healthy and clearly well cared for. I was disappointed in the dispatch time and customer service, which just copy and pasted what was on the site rather than actually answering my question, but they were sent the day after I'd contacted them, so maybe it did make a difference. They're good value, especially their special deals. It would have been helpful if the tops of the boxes were marked so that I knew which way to open them, also for the courier. But the lavenders had been wrapped beautifully with greaseproof paper and tied with string, so fortunately stayed in their pots. The heathers weren't in bud or bloom as offered, but that doesn't really matter, just not quite as promised.

Not very impressed delivery was late arriving with no information then contacted them and the order appeared. Plants pots were broken and part of order missing. They wouldn’t send replacements for missing items , did refund me but didn’t seem bothered about inconvenience

The garden in our new house requires alot of planting to. I ordered up a selection of reduced plants, heathers,alpines and some palms to add interest. Ordering was simple and delivery time good. So pleased with the quality of the plants that arrived that I have placed a second order hopefully these will be just as good value.

I bought a 4 fruit tree pack on offer in July 2025. The delivery was slow and it was baking hot. When the delivery finally arrived - the trees were dry and did look dead. However, as advertised, they had a 5 year warranty and I thought I would give them the couple of seasons to pick up. Fast forward to today Feb 26 - all the trees are dead. I have contacted the company and they have said 'Unfortunately, we are unable to assist further as these are not one of those plants covered by our Guarantees' even though they stated on the advert! Misselling at a high scale. For Reference -Those plants which are covered for 5 years will be those with the product code prefixes of single letters T, P, B, S and double letters FT.

Received delivery of damaged plants, the Fragile notices obviously meant nothing to the delivery company. Boxes crushed, plants all over the place with broken pots.
Tried to complain on the website, only to get an email back with email box not monitored. Will be going back to Suttons

The bamboo I received looks nothing like the one advertised. The photos showed a full, lush, healthy plant, but what arrived was sparse, dry, and scraggly with very little green growth. It feels misleading compared to the product images, and I’m disappointed with the quality.

I ordered 5 days ago and still have not received a tracking link, they are quick to process so that you cannot cancel but it is not a busy time when they say they can take up to 15 days to deliver, and I see little reason for the order to be treated so slowly. Very frustrating and time wasting as I needed the plants for a specific date. As we are coming up for a weekend I cannot see the order arriving in time. I managed to email a human, but they said they were unable to help. However, I have since had another email to say they are prioritising my order, so I am adding a star and crossing my fingers! Still it would be better if plants were dispatched the day they are ordered, why work 5 days behind???

What I love about gardening express is the quality of the plants and bulbs. Ive never been disappointed and will continue buying from them to improve the look of my gardens and to encourage wildlife.
I think their prices are fair for the size of the plants and I also love their pots.

Used four times across about five years. Previous three orders I was not happy with. Battered plants

Used four times across about five years. Previous three orders I was not happy with. Battered plants, some clearly unrotoed cuttings and a few percentage dead. But, I keep trying.

This time no plants were sellotaped together on their foliage, no cuttings, none dead-small shrubs looked particularly healthy but the packing still remains very very lax, almost like they are shoved in a box and who cares.Squashed together, soil and bark topping all in bottom of box.

Appears to me to be a wholesaler that doesn't care at all about the plants they ship or package. But, to be fair they have improved over the last four years.

This delivery after waiting a year to see if they improved, was an improvement. But, still really terrible plant packing. PLants taped atop others, broken stems, rammed into small boxes with again the soil all out on th base. It's just...not good to recieve your hard spent cash on plants that show up as they do.

Plus points this time: Size of plants....almost as described, plants called in bud and bloom? One of five. health of plants, much better than the last three orders. None dead this time...But not shown any care in sending.

It just still seems sloppy and 'couldn't care less'.

This will be my last order. Not good enough I'm afraid,

Ps- tracking link showed I spent £1300 on the same plant so there's an issue with that too.

I ordered bulbs on the 30th December. They arrived after I chased them and requested a refund on 23rd Jan. Bulbs already sprouting very significantly by then, a few mouldy and split and packaging pretty poor. I won’t use again and wouldn’t recommend. When I chased them up there was no sign of them having been prepared to be sent so probably wouldn’t have them even now
