We are very happy with our Geodomex dome — it looks absolutely amazing and has transformed the space beautifully. The design and overall quality are impressive, and it truly stands out compared to other options on the market.
The only downside we discovered after installation is that it’s not fireproof, which some other domes do offer. That said, aside from this one limitation, the product has exceeded our expectations, and we’re very pleased with how it turned out.
After being interested in geodesic domes for over 30 years, I was thrilled to find a great option with an intricate design featuring polygons, a sliding door, and solid plexiglass instead of plastic film. Plus, it was very budget-friendly. However, I ran into some issues during setup due to the uneven surface of the patio where it was installed, so it’s essential to ensure it’s on a level surface. While this is more related to basic geometry than a product fault, I didn’t expect it to be so challenging to get it just right, and I suspect others may encounter similar problems.

I purchased a dome in September and only had the chance to use it once. Two weeks later, it collapsed. I tried to set it back up three more times. The plastic is incredibly flimsy, much thinner than a motorcycle helmet visor. The screws are made of brittle clear plastic... then during another windy night in my area, it completely fell apart and got blown away. The bottom screws failed. It's truly not fit for purpose, maybe suitable in a sheltered area, but I'm very disappointed.
