I encountered significant issues with the auction system due to its structure and enforcement. As a first-time user, I found the platform’s auction mechanics to be more punitive than transparent. Winning a bid resulted in an immediate substantial non-refundable hold, with very limited and costly options if I chose not to proceed. Although these terms may be mentioned in the fine print, they feel unfair and uninviting to buyers, especially newcomers. The only alternatives after winning were to either forfeit a hefty fee, complete the purchase with a steep restocking charge, or resell through the same platform. None of these options seemed reasonable for someone who simply decided not to continue. In my view, this approach emphasizes enforcement over building trust and creates unnecessary pressure rather than confidence. For a luxury marketplace, I anticipated a more balanced, customer-friendly experience. I will not be using this service again and recommend that other first-time users carefully review all terms before participating in auctions.
I just completed my first direct purchase, and the customer service was outstanding. I might have been a bit demanding since I made my purchase on Thanksgiving and was worried that the holiday season could cause delays. However, the support team was very responsive (thank you to the representative) and addressed all my questions right away. The watch arrived as promised and on schedule. Everything was handled professionally and smoothly.
