Extremely disappointing experience.
I run a small business, and $300 AUD is not pocket change. I signed up to Jobber expecting a simple, streamlined CRM with reliable Google Calendar and Xero integrations. Instead, I found the platform overly complex and key integrations did not function as expected for my operations.
I cancelled within a short period of limited use — well under a month — and requested a refund. The answer was a flat no.
In my experience, most reputable software companies will issue a refund when a product clearly hasn’t delivered value within a short timeframe. I’ve dealt with major CRM platforms and app providers who stand behind their product and act in good faith when expectations aren’t met early on. Jobber is the first software company I’ve encountered that hides strictly behind policy rather than exercising reasonable discretion.
Yes, the support responses were polite — but policy overrode common sense. For a company that markets itself as supporting small businesses, there was zero flexibility, zero empathy in action, and zero accountability for a product that didn’t perform as advertised for my needs.
If you’re considering Jobber, be extremely cautious. Test everything thoroughly during the trial. Once they charge you, don’t expect any flexibility — even if the software doesn’t work for your business.
Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

The humans at Jobber make this software a delight to utilize. They are knowledgeable and professional and clearly explain solutions in an effective way.One of my core values is that I utilize my time and energy benefiting humanity. Humans need jobs and preferably jobs utilizing their expertise in order to house themselves and feed their families. I feel confident when I interact with the people at Jobber that they are working for a company that is meeting their needs to support themselves and thrive. This software allows the small company that I work for to manage schedules, track hours and profits, invoice collect payment. We are then able to pay our employees a living wage, offer benefits, and do what we do best- provide great care for trees and the humans we interact with.
The only good part of jobber compared to other similar software is that it has a great scheduling and dispatching UI. Otherwise it is the most overpriced piece of garbage ever. There are 4 things I want a crm to do. 1) Keep my client data organized and easily sortable (jobber is okay at sorting client data, phone numbers, addresses, etc.) 2) Have smooth scheduling and dispatching for work orders. (the only thing they excel at) 3) Allow me to automatically follow up with quotes and completed jobs to increase close rates and keep quality control. (extremely minimal features, especially for the price, usually have to integrate 3rd party softwares that have their own subscription to do this effectively.) and 4) allow me to categorize quotes, work, and invoices so that reports on close rates, average ticket, and total invoices can be as accurate and insightful as possible. (their weakest point and the only point that cannot easily be solved by a 3rd party software integration. the only solution is manual tracking and data entry which is not realistic for most businesses.). Keep in mind that almost every other crm out there does all of this better than jobber (minus the dispatching and scheduling.) and does it at either the same or a better price point. Jobber is simply a marketing success that keeps its success by people either not knowing anything else or knowing that there is so much better, or are like me and got stuck because I did not have the time nor resources required to switch. Switching softwares after 5 years and thousands of invoices and clients is horribly inconvenient, but my only complaint about switching is that I didn't do it sooner.
