Beware. Known scam site reported to Wyoming AG consumer dept.
You will be autosubscribed even if you are really careful to uncheck the subscription box - once you choose an item the page will take you straight through to shopify without allowing you to see what it's added back. Look carefully on shopify and you will see, in faded grey small font beneath your total, the words 'recurring payment'. If you click to complete you allow them to present a recurring payment authorisation to Shopify. From that point they can charge any card you have registered with shopify.
They do not respond to requests to stop the subscription or return the goods.
Their registered head office address in Wyoming is confirmed by the Wyoming attorney general - who is investigating - to be a known scam address.
The US business-verify site BBB grades them as F - highly untrustworthy - and lists at least 15 other linked businesses relating to beauty products but also apparent scams.
The UK registered Nuvie was delisted from companies house in Dec 2025.
Note their onsite reviews are entirely false. There is an exposure of them on youtube. Chcek trustpilot also, and BBB.
The only way to stop the subscription is to go into your shopify account and request full data erasures. This erases their repeat authorisation. You are then free to repoen your shopify account and use it again without being charged by them.

Scam company

I gave only 1 star to be able to proceed with review. It is a scam company. Without my authorization, I was automatically signed up for monthly subscription. It was very difficult to cancel charges despite I called every day. This is very ineffective mask with very low quality. Please DO NOT buy this low quality product.

Scam, stay away !

Renewal is automatic, and it’s impossible to get a response from them requesting immediate cancellation, as is suggested on their website. It's a massive scam!!

I wanted to return the product and was…

I wanted to return the product and was told it was not possible. They have a no refund policy. Their website and sales pitch said 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back. NOT THE CASE!!

its a SCAM and overpriced, cheap item. FAKE NUVIE at $$$ made in China

the items is cheap looking and is NOT by the brand NUVIE, although the website uses their logo! The packages are fabricated in China, cheap looking cardboard, I dont dare to put it onto my skin. Havent opened them so far, as they cannot be returned once opened. Its a fake NUVIE Brand, that makes money by selling 3 for 1 etc. I paid $50 USD for 3 boxes, when they arrived they did not look like anything on the ad, and didnt have the logo. When I wrote to them they wrote back that they are in the middle of redoing their packaging, and thats why there is no logo.I requested to return the items, as per ther claim "money back guarantee, no questions asked" but they never provided a return address.Instead they offered a 30% refund I could keep the items.I persisted with screenshots from their site, and legal action, and after the third try they offered 50% for which I went, as it seemed clear they would never forward a shipping address OR return 100% of the price.Plus insured shipping to China is probably $$.Result: DO NOT GUY THEIR STUFF. ITS OVERPRICED AND FAKE.

This site is not legitimate

This site is not legitimate. The product falsely claims to have won multiple awards (i.e. Marie Claire skin awards 2024, which is in direct breach of Australian Consumer Law. There is also a very high risk of unintentional subscription charges via a sneaky "opt out" arrangement. A scam rather than a legitimate skincare brand.
