I was hired and fired through this agency, so I’m speaking from personal experience. The recruiters and their managers make themselves purposefully unavailable during an engagement and even after it ends—especially when you need something important, like instructions to return client-issued equipment. They routinely ghost candidates, act dismissive, and communicate with an unnecessary attitude. If someone from this agency reaches out to you, don’t expect consistent follow-up. In my experience, they don’t support contractors, they don’t keep you informed, and they rarely get back to you.
I am thoroughly disappointed with the erratic and avoidable conclusion of what I thought was a good partnership. I engaged with this recruiting firm expecting reliable, competent representation through a routine organizational transition. Instead, I experienced a complete abdication of responsibility and communication.I was informed of my contract termination right before the holidays — the worst possible timing for any professional to attempt a pivot. Being let go right before Thanksgiving without warning (I was told some work would be available in 2026) has been one of the more egregious betrayals I have personally felt in my lifetime. By the time I raised the alarm and demanded clarity, it was already too late for my placement to change direction or be salvaged. The organization I work for cannot operate without this role, they had quickly built in redundancy. IG was going to let this slide without a fuss and assumed I would just accept this irresponsible negligence. No one advocated for me until I escalated the issue myself. What was dismissed as a “misunderstanding” resulted in real, tangible consequences: the loss of a strong job placement, the loss of income for 2026, significant personal stress, and damage to my professional stability.IG could have guided my placement organization through the transition, but instead chose to let it lapse without advocating for me. I will not forget this. I expected accountability, communication, and meaningful representation. What I received instead was negligence, avoidance, and a total lack of urgency until the fallout was already irreversible. This experience has deeply marred my trust in this organization and its ability to support the people it claims to represent.I should thank the organization for showing who they really are. I am confident in my ability to find a better role and better representation in the months ahead.
My interview with Insight Global left me deeply concerned about potential bias in their hiring process. Before the video call, my experience and qualifications were strongly acknowledged. Once the hiring manager saw me on camera, their attitude changed abruptly, and my work history was disregarded without real discussion. This experience made me feel I was not evaluated fairly or professionally. Companies should ensure that every candidate is assessed based on merit, not appearance or assumptions. I hope Insight Global addresses these issues within their hiring process.
Hiring process is extremely long!! Back ground checks in 2 days & then over a week to 2 weeks for drug screen. Lie about pay rate & have way to many departments handling things. Recuirts sound & act very inexperienced. Also expect you to allow employees to talk to you & treat you any type of way. Beware do not work for them.!!
My girlfriend worked through Insight Global on a contract processed via Deel, and the experience has been incredibly frustrating. This isn’t a one-off problem — there have been multiple delays in payments throughout the contract, with repeated broken promises from Insight Global’s team about when payments would arrive. Now the final paycheck — over €5,000 — is overdue, even though the contract is complete and all work was delivered. The payment was due via Deel on July 30, and as of today, it’s still unpaid. Deel currently shows that payment is awaiting funding from the client — Insight Global. We’ve reached out for answers, but communication has been vague, slow, and unhelpful. There’s zero urgency or accountability. For a company that promotes itself as one of the top direct hire firms in the U.S., this is completely unacceptable. We are now formally escalating the issue through Deel’s dispute process, and will pursue debt recovery or legal action if payment is not made immediately.Freelancers and contractors depend on timely, reliable payments. If you’re considering working through Insight Global, be aware — they may not pay you on time, and you’ll be left chasing them for money you’re owed.
1. Insight global lied to me about pay rates. They got me on the hook at a higher pay rate then dropped my pay rate after I quit my current job but right before I started with them at APS.2. They didnt pay me what they owe me. I had to threaten legal action to get a check cut and it was only a partial check after three weeks. It is now a month later and they still haven't paid me.3. On top of everything they gave me a huge lie and runaround as to why they haven't paid with no sense of urgency involved.
I spoke to two separate recruiters regarding UX positions. They were the most condescending, unprofessional people I have encountered in my 13-year career. They didn't know basic details like the job's location, changed meeting times arbitrarily, and showed little understanding of the role they were pitching. They repeatedly interrupted me while I attempted to answer their questions. I would like to know how to be removed from their call list.
