Review Time
Two people in our household have been waiting over a week and have not received our order, even though it has been marked as delivered.Will change review to positive if this issue is resolved in reasonable time.
I got a car from a dealer car park, and I said to get also a year warranty with it, I paid 300£. If you have any issues with your car, you will have to pay for investigation of the issues from your own pocket, then the company paying for labourer just a maximum amount of money, about 47£/hour, but the service will charge a minimum 90£/hour plus VAT. So at the end you will end up paying for your service and for warranty which doesn’t help at all.After a couple of months my car get broken, I did speak to the warranty company, they send me a list of authorised services via email.When I speak to this services, over the phone, I was told to pay from my own pocket then to get a refund instead to wait for the warranty company to pay as will take a lot much longer, which I did. Then after all, I did go to one of the services, did as I was told, got my car, for a water pump after 3 days, paid 295£. After 2 months the water pump is broken again, I went to a decent service and paid from my own pocket.I won’t be using it then again.Claim no AA2022713367
I feel that Jemca Edgware Road are not offering the quality of service that might even be considered adequate. They make it feel like once you’ve purchased their obligation is fulfilled and have a very cavalier attitude towards their customers. After test driving and speaking to one of their sales persons, Melvyn Weekes, I agreed to purchase a Used Dealer Approved Toyota RAV4 Hybrid on a 68plate. He completed the paperwork on Monday and I was told the car was to be ‘prepared’ before I can take it home 3 days later on Thursday evening. I paid for the car as per his request and asked him to keep me informed on the timeline for the collection of the car. He didn't reply to emails or phone calls till a few days later.On the collection day, I called to make sure and was told that he wasn’t working that day but one of his colleagues will be there to do the handover of the vehicle. On arriving for collection, the car was not fully ‘prepared’, the service history and the MOT records were not present and the interior detailing not done satisfactorily to car dealer standard. His colleague told me that he has spoken to his ‘manager’ and that I should come back tomorrow (Friday) to collect the car. I was told that somebody will call me. On Friday another colleague of his, Kaviyan called to say the car is ready for collection. It took another 3 hours for final delivery of the car with the jack spanner missing. (I had to pay for the spanner on Kaviyan’s insistence and am still waiting for a refund) I had to call and email on multiple times and each time I called or emailed on the status of the various pending documentation and refund, I was told Melvyn would call me back (they gave me so many excuses; he was with a client, he was in a meeting, he wasn’t working that day… just to name a few...) sometime he would response.Do NOT use this dealership! They are dishonest, unreliable and have very poor customer service….
What an absolute joke of a company. They work alongside Ramp who administer the warranty. My car has now been in one garage or another for over 12 weeks it is 30 days since between them they agreed to exchange the engine. My car is still waiting for the engine . You get passed between both companies and only contact you when you put things out in to the world.
