Extension to AA WarrantyAs part of the sales package for the car I just purchased 2 years ago was a free 3 month month AA warranty. The dealer explained the benefits of extending the warranty and I extended for a further 2 years . I use the warranty 3 times and they was OK...!!!
AVOID!!! PEOPLE DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! THEY WILL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WON’T COVER ANYTHING!Absolutely disgusting customer service! Bought this thinking I will have a peace of mind, but no – it’s just stress and hassle! Bought it for my Range Rover paid £1500.00 and milage of the car 37000. Had a failure in shock absorbers, had even a warning sign on the dashboard and they aren’t willing to replace it and already for 2.5 weeks my car is in the garage and they once declined the claim and second time they are just playing ping pong via email. The Claim Engineer A. W. said that shock absorber must be broken in two pieces for it to be replaced. And that shock absorbers have wear and tear. She is clearly not competent if she doesn’t understand the principles of shock absorbers work. When asked her to confirm her words in the email in writing she started to copy and paste quotes from the instructions instead of confirming her words. When I’ve said that I want to talk to the manager she refused to give me his details and kept putting quotes from the instructions. When after several calls to the warranty I finally asked for the manager to call me, I was waiting for him to call me back for 2 days. By the magic that manager was so busy on the two-day meetings that he didn’t have time to call me. When I’ve said that I will stay on the line until he talks to me then only, he decided to talk to me. At 16.35 when I’ve rang, they told me he will definitely will ring me back, when I rang them again at 16.49 finally, I was allowed to stay on the line until he talks to me, bare in mind that they are closing at 17.00!!!!!!! and yet again, he tried to say exactly the same quotes as that A.W. said. I’m sure that this all was agreed and discussed by them as when I’ve asked different manager to talk to me, I’ve been told that I can talk only to him, even though they do have several managers. This is just an ongoing joke! Still my claim is not sorted! And now waiting for the independent engineer to come which will take another couple of days. They don’t care about customers, their lost working days etc. they do not care about people, they just make stress for people! Will take this further to the solicitors and court if needed as this warranty is just a joke! People save your money and don’t go for it!!!!! Wear and tear on the shock absorber CAN’T SHOW THE WARNING LIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD! 2 independent garages seen evidence videos and photos and straight away said that shock absorbers are broken and at fault. But for them it’s not enough of evidence! Yet again can confirm that they are not competent at all as A.W. said she doesn’t understand why can’t garage take a picture of the broken shock absorber if the work is undergoing, bare in mind that in their policy it says that YOU CAN’T REPLACE PARTS UNTIL CLAIM IS CONFIRMED and as claim was not confirmed then obviously it was not removed for the replacement.
Attempted collection on the wrong day. Parcel return 1 week later with no explanation. Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time - asking me to re book (and pay again) and then hang up when I started to talk about refund. Prefer DPD / an post... If you need to send a parcel!!!
