Review Time
I’ve previously given this company a 5 star review but this time around I’d give it zero if I could. My sons renewal came in today and it’s at least €500 more than last years I rang up & queried this and the fella on the phone said it’s probably because of my sons “Illness” he’s deaf it’s a disability not an illness.. he suggested I get a letter from a GP to say he’s fit to drive ( this would be his 3rd year on his own insurance) .. I never had a problem using this company before . But the Guy I was talking to needs retraining it’s the second time in a week I’ve been on to him and his attitude stinks. I’m genuinely furious with referring to my sons Disability as an illness he has the use of cochlear implants I’ve gone to another broker and got his insurance for €500 cheaper and they said they’ve never had a situation where an insurance company would hike someone’s premiums for a Disability ⬇️ From the Equality Act In Ireland, insurers cannot legally charge higher premiums or refuse coverage based solely on disability. Policies should cover vehicle modifications (e.g., ramps, hand controls), and specialist insurers often provide tailored, cost-effective coverage. Disabled drivers may also qualify for tax relief on vehicles and adaptations.
