Ordered over £120 worth of items before xmas and there was an extended delay of around 4 weeks without any notification until we chased. We were told all items was dispatched and on its way via Evri and then 2 days later contacted to say one of the items was out of stock and asking if we still wanted them to ship order without it!!! I asked them to send the remaining order and refund me for the missing item. We have since received the remaining items but still waiting for refund. Customer responses to emails lack any sort of customer service training
I placed an order with Grass Fields back in November, hoping (but not even really expecting) it to arrive in time for an event. Unfortunately, not only did the order arrive late, but they also sent me the wrong sizes. Strike one.Then, when I tried to figure out how to return the items, I found that their website had absolutely no accessible return information. I ended up having to message them on Instagram just to get basic instructions. They took ages to reply and only told me to email them. I emailed them in December and got no response for weeks, despite sending multiple follow-up messages. Now, here we are in January, and they’ve finally responded only to say they’ll only give me store credit.In a cost-of-living crisis, holding onto £90 of my money and making returns this difficult is unacceptable. I genuinely wanted to support a Black-owned business, especially given their history and the challenges they’ve faced. But this experience has completely turned me off. If I could give them minus ten stars, I would. One star is generous. I will never buy from Grass Fields again.
I like to support small businesses, how ever on this occasion I have been let down, it’s taken me time and serious thinking to write this here. Grass-field has failed in all on their website, failed to deliver. I ordered my items in November, paid. I was informed delivery on delivery, until 18th December 2025, hoping to get my purchase for Christmas, never happened. I am still waiting, I made two orders and still not received not even one . I am mortified and never experienced such company. Lady who calls herself Sandra does minimum communication via email, no follow ups to reassure customers, their frequent message is “THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE WITH US” This is enough!!!! Definitely will be reporting this to consumers right and trading standard if I don’t receive my items in 7 days or REFUND!! Never again. They should not be still promoting and advertising if they cannot for fill orders. SHAME !!
I ordered my item in mid November. It is now the end of December and I still have not yet received it despite them saying that the delivery is guaranteed before Christmas. I will be reporting them to Trading standards. Do not trust this organisation. Update: The company's full name is Grassfields Trade LTD. Company number 16278851. I have reported them to Trading Standards.

Disgusting! I made an order beginning of December during Black Friday sales I’m still waiting for my order. They run ads on Instagram for items which are not even in stock so be aware. Once you order they will create a delivery label with EVRI which will make you think your order is being processed. You might even think is the delivery company that is taking their time meanwhile is them all along they haven’t sent the parcel to start with. Sent several emails even asking to issue me a refund still nothing. I won’t be ordering again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either.
Wish I read the reviews before purchasing, but it seems like many people have the same issue as me. I placed an order two weeks ago on 2-3 working days Evri delivery. Two weeks later, no parcel has arrived, no update and no tracking number to track my item. Emailed and DMd the company and emails have just been ignored. This is disgusting customer service, I wanted my items to give as a Christmas present for someone but now have to seek elsewhere! As I have not received an update, I’m now going to investigate this further with my bank. Scam company!!
I should have read the reviews before ordering from here. I love to support black business but not when it come at my expense. I placed an order for Christmas present and was told it’s been delivered when it hasn’t (now I understand this might be out of your control and the couriers fault) but I contacted customer services numerous times with no response. It’s 2025 and there is usually proof of delivery but nothing. Judy dead silence and I’m £48.95 out of pocket. It’s not acceptable!!!!
I ordered an outfit since 5th Dec, paid for 2-3 days delivery. Sent an email and was replied on the 10th that they are still shipping black Friday sales, that shipping will resume on the 15th. No more email despite sending and i wish i had read their current reviews before ordering. I thought they still had the good services they had pre-pandemic. Also noticed the company has been dissolved on companies house and there was an insolvency (debt) charge on them too!!!
