Customer service

The customer service at the greggs store on north valley Rd, Is second to none.It was very busy this morning, But the staff even under pressure from hungry customers ,Still smiling and a happy positive attitude,The shift manager ( i think her name is zara) a real credit to the company, along with all the staff.I am not sure i could be so helpful early in the morning ,

I'm quite disappointed franchise not honouring the Greg's contract or redeemable gifts on appwith th

I'm quite disappointed with the Greg's at the ASDA express in Salford quays on Trafford road. I understand it's a franchise but they are still obliged to follow Greg's policies every time I have a redeemable voucher on my Greg's app. They mysteriously tell me that app is down and I know this is something that has happened with my colleagues too because they have the same issue. The other day I went in and I had a free breakfast item on my app straight away the woman jumped in and said the apps down I pointed out that that's not really my fault and then asked why it's always down she said that's just something they're told to say. And then I saw somebody use the app as I was leaving as I had gone to use another service in the garage. I've spoken to some of my colleagues have said they found that this has happened with them whenever they have any items to redeem. I really don't feel that this is fair I mean they can't be saving too much or losing too much by redeeming these vouchers. They have a contract with Greg's and they obliged to follow their rules. I also don't like being lied to. I mean I suppose the main point of it is that somebody might have ordered something gone to pay for it with their voucher and then because they've got it ready they're more likely to then just pay with their cash instead I wonder if that's the reasoning behind it more? Either way it's dishonest and sneaky I don't know if it's down to the individual manager there. Or the manager of the petrol station or whoever has that franchise. But people need to be aware of this and if anybody's had a similar experience at this Greg's on Trafford road has to express near the exchange square tram station post it

cold food

This morning i arrived at greggs and fancied a nice warm sausage bean cheese melt which i did not recieve (it was stone cold). Spent 3.65 on the food and a drink which was a waste of money. I dreamed last night of having a nice warm sausage bean cheese melt as we are in winter. Extremely dissapointed in greggs and will never be returning unless i get my money back and free sausage rolls for life.

Buxton Store

Buxton Store, never have a full counter, no matter what time of day you go in, must be loosing so much money, hot food is uk warm, young lad that served us today, was pig ignorant, threw my pasty on the counter, said £4.50 no please or thank you and forgot to give me the rest of my order, which I had to ask him for, useless

90% of the time when I buy sausage…

90% of the time when I buy sausage rolls in the greggs Dover store you can tell there day old sausages rolls re heated.They are disgusting and then they refuse to admit they are old, you can taste the difference between fresh and old. It makes me angry that they sell them for the same price.

Update on Gift Card Experience

After I contacted them and said I might request a refund they gave me the option of having another card dispatched by their gift department so I said yes. I also asked if I could be emailed so I knew it had been dispatched. I've heard nothing and nothing has been. received by the recipient. This is either down to Greggs or Royal Mail and I have registered a complaint with the latter as well in case it might be theft. I would definitely not recommend sending gift cards via the Royal Mail.

The last three bakes have been stone…

The last three bakes have been stone cold. On three separate occasions the food has been stone cold. The chicken is kept heated but not the bakes. The last time I went there it was 1PM so not like near to closing yet still the food was cold.
