Sander down since Aug 22

Our Grizzly sander has been down for 6 months waiting on a basic part that Grizzly doesn't have in stock, waited so long we had to just purchase a new $4000 sander. We will never buy another piece of equipment from this company.

A Dishonest Company

I have ordered from Grizzly multiple times, so why a one star review? Lying and misrepresentation will do it. I have several tools from them (hand tools, a full-size bench vise, dust collection hoses and fittings, and a heavy-duty mobile base). All of them range from 'fine' to 'pretty good'. But there was one particularly memorable experience that drove me to post a negative review. Grizzly ABSOLUTELY manipulates their product reviews by cherry-picking and posting only the positive ones.I bought their portable woodworking vise (product T27896) and received a total piece of junk. The guide rods were not parallel (like WAY off) to the lead screw and the vise would bind when opened 2/3 of its supposed travel. The paint job was sloppy and parts of it had obviously been ground to 'fix' sloppy fabrication. The cherry on top was that the ferrule on the vise handle was so poorly threaded that it just fell off when the handle was released. What did I expect from a sub-fifty-dollar bench vise? Well, at the very least, a usable vise.I called Grizzly, expecting them to take some ownership for sending me a heavy piece of scrap metal, and the only thing they made clear on the phone was that I would be charged a restocking fee if the returned vise was not deemed by them to be sufficiently 'bad'. No apology, no problem ownership, just vague threats.I mailed it back and was ultimately credited my money back. No thanks on a replacement.After the dust (and my frustration) had settled a bit, I went on their website and wrote a thorough and fair review of the product, including images showing the exact problems I was reporting.The review was never posted, there is no way for me to see it on the website. Any attempt to leave another review (or edit the old one) is prevented by a convenient technical glitch on the Grizzly website. No, there were no threats, obscenities, nor anything vaguely inappropriate in the review--it just vanished into the abyss of negative Grizzly product reviews. My positive reviews are all live!I can't, in good conscience, ever order from this company again. I have looked at their power tools in the past, but will always look elsewhere from now on. Spare yourself the frustration of (sometimes) cheaply-made misleadingly-advertised junk and spend your money elsewhere. For a similar price to the Grizzly garbage vise, I bought something from Woodcraft that works just fine.

After 4 months using the G0413 jointer…

After 4 months using the G0413 jointer it seems superb. However replacing a cutter head has been a horrible experience.They do not include all you need it even boldface the parts you will end up needing and are very highly recommended to purchase as your replace it. Their instruction manual does not even apply to my machine! Lastly I think they cherry pick and inflate their website reviews. I have reviewed on their site and it never shows up and their product review never drops.
