David helped me install the Microsoft 365 that I purchased from Groupon. The price was way cheaper at Groupon and David was an A+ on his patience and customer service that I received!
I’m disappointed with my recent experience with Groupon. I was promised a refund to my original payment method for Order #[XXXX], but instead received Groupon credit. I have contacted customer service multiple times and have documentation of the promise. I am simply requesting that Groupon honor the refund they committed to. I hope they will resolve this matter promptly.
I purchased a Groupon Code for a $97 real estate course that expired. I then purchased the SAME EXACT COURSE thru Groupon with the same company Acable Agent. This is an online course. When I went to put the code in, it DID NOT WORK. I tried numerous times. I was frustrated, so I created a new account with a different email address. Again, IT DID NOT WORK. I then wrote an email to Acable Agent stating I had no access to their course. I got a response back saying they went ahead and extended my original course for FREE and to reach out to Groupon to seek a refund. Well, after numerous emails back and forth and even getting my bank involved, sharing what had happened, Groupon REFUSED to give me a refund. The merchant says their hands are tied and the only way I could get a refund is with Groupon. Groupon stated that the code was ' viewed ' and when I shared that it still did not work, now matter where I entered it and I was given a complimentry extention, they did not care. Both Groupon and Acable Agent says that I can gift the real estate course to someone... Hahah um, no. There's no one in my world looking to take real estate classes right at this moment. Now I have two of the EXACT SAME COURSE, one is sitting idle- AKA in the tolit along with my $100 bucks. Never again will I use Groupo,n and I suggest others stay far, far away. This is black and white, and there is ZERO gray area, which in today's world, is a death sentence to a company... I don't see Groupon lasting more than 5 years with this policy. All it does is chase away customers... BYE, learned my lesson the hard way like so many others.
Bought the movies and dinner deal for Valentine's Day. Turns out the code they gave me only worked for the dinner not the emoviecash. They said they don't have the code for emoviecash. Call restaurant.com which never responded..e movie cash also never responded. So me and my date are frustrated because of no movie. Also I asked for Groupon bucks as a refund because I could buy from them of the actual theater tickets. Customer service said no. It's a scam avoid it. Oh they just sent me an advertisement email to buy that package.
Purchased Afee protection. Tried to retrieve voucher. Kept receiving error message December 2025. Contact customer support service no response. Tried again week before expired 2/12/26. Sent messages 3 times and not one reply. Now I LOST MY MONEY!!! NO MORE WASTING MONEY WITH GROUPON
I had a huge mess up with one of the services. It was permanent eyebrows. She wasn't even licensed I found later, but Groupon refused to reimburse me after she butchered my eyebrows. I had to get them done again immediately after so I didn't walk around looking like I was permanently surprised but only on the right side.
I mean it was embarrassing, and the lady took no responsibility for it AT ALL, but I assumed Groupon would. They did not. They actually told me to go back to the lady for her to fix them. Even the good service I received after, she couldn't get them completely squared up because they were so screwed up.
I just could not believe groupon did nothing. They are just awful.
Groupon’s Merchant Support and account management are, without exaggeration, one of the most incompetent and misleading business operations I’ve ever dealt with.
Their so-called “account managers” are completely unreachable. Emails go unanswered for months. Phone calls go straight to voicemail and are never returned. I have not received a single proactive call, follow-up, or resolution despite repeated attempts.
Here’s the worst part:
I explicitly paused my campaigns, and Groupon continued running and charging them anyway. When I contacted support to stop it, they either ignored the request or bounced me endlessly between departments that clearly don’t communicate with each other. No accountability. No ownership. No solutions.
This feels less like a support team and more like a system designed to:
Take merchant money
Avoid direct contact
Stall until you give up
There is no real merchant protection, no reliable escalation path, and no urgency when your business is actively losing money due to THEIR failure to act.
If you’re a small business owner considering Groupon:
⚠️ Be warned. Once your campaign is live, you are essentially on your own.
⚠️ “Account managers” exist in name only.
⚠️ Requests to pause or fix issues are ignored while charges continue.
This experience has been exhausting, financially damaging, and completely avoidable if Groupon had even a minimally functional support structure.
I would never recommend Groupon to any serious business owner. There are far better marketing platforms that don’t rely on silence, deflection, and negligence.

Ordered desert safari in Dubai by rating, but the service of both parties is total scam and cheating!
That guy started offering extra packages the last minute. I decided to go to assembly point by my car and was waiting for them about 1,5 hours! The operator was lying to me about timing (said he will come in 10 minutes and came in 1h).
Food was bad, the same for entertainment.
Groupon cannot refund this, only offer a discount which I never will use!
And one more important thing why you cannot rely on reviews from Groupon it’s you can leave your review ONLY IF MERCHAND MARK IT AS USED. Otherwise you will never can leave a review. So they are just never mark your voucher as used to avoid a negative review.

Completely unable to reach a human being to make and escalate a complaint regarding a merchant! Groupon hides behind its online chatbot to prevent any customer experience being heard, but happy to take your money straight away!
I purchased a ticket for The Wonder of Lights. I purchased for up to 8 people in a vehicle. The day I planned on going, I checked my groupon to have everything ready and it showed redeemed on a previous date. I have never been to this event. I tried resolving the issue but it is impossible to get a hold of anyone. Conveniently when I try to write a review through groupon for my ticket, it is never working. Issue was never resolved. I was scammed! I will not purchase from Groupon again.
