Excellent house, perfect for big get togethers. House and gardens are all beautifully presented. Maybe a bit of paint amd TLC here and there wouldn't hurt and some new pans for the kitchen would be nice but overall a great couple of days.
We had an excellent experience with group retreat and the owner of the house.We spend 2 nights in Martley Hall Estate last week.Every thing was amazing we were group of 34 people including kids everyone enjoyed a lot. House was amazing with enough space including all the facilities and well equipped. Indoor swimming pool was amazing. Room and toilet were so clean and nice.Host was helpful and responded quickly.Group treat staff was friendly and helpful especially Lia arranged every thing and sorted out all the issues.Overall it was wonderful and peaceful trip .Once you enter in property you don’t want to come back.We definitely recommend them for booking.
The accommodation at Caer Beris was exactly what we needed for a large multigenerational family gathering of 38. The bedrooms were well suited to the mix of young/elderly/family/couples. The manor house had plenty of space for different breakout groups as well as ample space when we all wanted to come together for eating/celebrating. The staff at group retreats were incredibly helpful at all points of the booking/stay. Family already requesting repeat break for next year.
We stayed at Harkstead Hall for a weekend to celebrate a hen do. It was the perfect space for 20 people, the sauna a hot tub were a great touch. We were welcomed by a lovely hamper and the house was very clean and in great condition with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend
We were welcomed very warmly by Georgie the owner who showed us around the house and grounds. Everywhere is impeccably clean and very wellKept. The facilities are amazing, you cannot get bored here there is so much to do. Amazing indoor swimming pool and hot tub, stream room and sauna. Games room, tennis and basketball court and even a gym, everything has been thought of. Walks on the grounds are beautiful.Every bedroom in the main house and outhouses are beautifully decorated and all have en-suites.The kitchen area is fantastic for cooking and entertaining at the same time along with the music on our whole family got involved which is just what we wanted.We all had the best time, and used every facility, we even had an early Easter egg hunt for the little ones.Evenings we spent playing games which there are plenty of at the house and we even lit the open fire.We were also given a beautiful hamper filled with goodies which was really appreciated.Every member of my family thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and the beautiful Martley Hall.We would definitely recommend staying here 100% and we will return in the future.Thankyou Group Retreats.
We’ve just had a fabulous stay at Ashfield Place Farm. The house was amazing and catered for all our needs. We had a caretaker available to us in case of any problems and in fact was quickly able to supply us with extra pool cues when asked! Group Retreats have provided comprehensive information leading up to our stay and were helpful and approachable with any queries I had.
Booked Old Lakenham for three nights to celebrate my 60th birthday with 24 friends, and loved every minute, the house exceeding all our expectations. Just 50 minutes from London, it's the perfect party house with a huge kitchen, beautiful bedrooms and breathtaking views. Spent a very memorable afternoon sitting by the pool in the sunshine, followed by a wonderful birthday dinner. The house sits above the stunning Loose valley, with lots of woodland footpaths that, even better, lead directly to a great pub for a Sunday roast, The Albion. Memories of this trip will stay with us forever.
We had a wonderful stay at The Olives, the house is very well equipped, plenty of everything, and very comfortable. The welcome pack of goodies was superb, so generous and much appreciated.The information from Group Retreats before our stay was very good, useful to have a guest portal to be able to refer to for planning, and we were very pleased to find somewhere that would allow us to stay for 2 nights during the week. We loved our stay.
