Great stay at the Glentworth Manor with my girls. The staff were super accommodating and attentive. Stuart, our caretaker, was a wonderful host and helped us start our bbq & took care of setting everything up for us. He was very respectful over our privacy and was very helpful.A great time was had thanks to him, thank you!
Fantastic. Sometimes photos on websites can be misleading, Caer Beris looks good on the website but we were blown away by the real thing. It’s a home away from home if you live in a classy, stylish historic stately home with beautifully kept gardens and grounds and a rambling river running though it. From the river with kingfishers and herons to the outdoor heated pool to the hot tub to the pond and rose garden outside is breathtaking. Inside the rooms manage to be both grand and cosy. The house allowed us as a group of family and friends to celebrate the wedding at the wonderful Nant Gwyllt Chapel and the catering and grand domestic kitchens, meant that all 42 of us were royally fed and had the space to cook together and allow our chef to excel. Each bedroom is individual and well presented and the welcome and care of Andy the caretaker was first class. In fact the whole experience could be summed up in the word class. Caer Beris was a dream come true in a beautiful part of the county. Diolch yn fawr.
We stayed at Milton House (Bedford) and were a group of 23, although the house can comfortably sleep up to 30. All of the comms beforehand were super helpful and meant we knew all about the facilities etc before our arrival. The house itself is fantastic and there is plenty of space for a large group to relax and have fun. The grounds are beautiful, pool and pool area are a great space to relax whatever the weather and the games room and tennis courts are a bonus. Would highly recommend.
We stayed In Abbey House in May for a birthday. The house was beautiful, it had everything we needed. The pool with the pool house is such a perfect setting on a hot day. Group retreats were really responsive with any queries we had. We would love to stay again!
We had a two night stay in Olive Cottage and it was perfect. Six of us met up for a school reunion after over 40 years apart! The cottage was exactly how it is pictured and very clean, tidy and well equipped. We had a bedroom each, utilising the sofa bed which is upstairs in its own area, so not in the lounging space downstairs. There were plenty of bathrooms for us all.The welcome basket was the best any of us had ever seen and we are all over 60, so know a thing or two about welcome baskets! A really nice surprise and full of good quality products. The whole cottage was very comfortable and exceptional good value. We all agreed that we would definitely recommend it and some of us are thinking of booking again for a stay with our extended family. The village of Bampton is nearby, if you are a Downton Abbey fan it is definitely worth a visit as all the outside shots were filmed there. A really picturesque village with a great pub.
If I could give more stars I would⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had 3 perfect days and nights at Caer Beris Manor, a group of family and friends ranging from 9 months to 88 years old.The Manor was beautiful and clean with a hot tub, a pool, a lake, all you could ask for, the grounds are stunning and we were also blessed with wonderful weather to fully enjoy it all.Will definitely return!
We stayed for a long weekend in this Property Absolutely Stunning everything you could wish for Outdoor pool/Jacuzzi/Spotless. Breathtaking Views what a Fantastic Experience. Well worth a visit. Definitely would like to return one day. 😍
