The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and know their stuff. I have been a member here for over a year. I needed to lose over a stone to try to get fit again and to lower my diabetes numbers. My energy has come back and my diabetes numbers have gone down. There's still more to do.The ladies who attend there are very friendly and we have a good laugh. There's a group of us who get together after workouts and call ourselves the 'Coffee' girls - we drink coffee, chat and enjoy ourselves.
Amazing place to be!I love Gymophobics and its concept that much I’ve gone from being a member, to becoming an instructor to now owning my own franchise. Gymophobics is more than just a gym with lots of support from instructors and fellow members! 🩷
I joined gymophobics a year ago. Now at first I actually liked the idea of it, this soon changed when one of the people who worked at the gym made me feel pretty uncomfortable about my weight going on like I’d got so much to lose (I’m not a big girl and purely wanted to go for my fitness levels and to tone up) so initially this made me uncomfortable and I found myself going when the gym manager was there instead as it was nice and easy going. I then moved house- when you join you sign up for 12 months which I understood completely and would continue paying however I was met with the rudest reply I have ever encountered from a customer service advisor to the point that the reply actually came off threatening and I ended up going to the direct debit company themselves to say that I’d given my notice but the CsA hadn’t taken it and that I didn’t want to be charged further. The direct debit company were really helpful and told me that no notes had been made that I had given my notice. They have now sorted this for me and honestly I hope people avoid this company at all costs. And a very sarcastic thankyou JAMES at gymphobics for your lack of help and almost threatening email back in November 2023. Fortunately for me the DD company were helpful and I’m free of gymphobics
Gymophobics Stafford, 20a Grey Friars, Stafford ST16 2SA — Google LocalI have been a member of gymophobics Stafford over 15 years now and I absolutely love it, it helps me with my arthritis being good for joints and mobility, keeps my weight in check and over the years have got to know many other members. There’s always an up beat atmosphere in the gym at any time of day you go, all the instructors and yellow ladies are wonderful giving great advice and regular reviews so you never get bored with the same routine. I recently took ill while at the gym and the care and concern given to me by Esther and Jenny was so reassuring and after a few weeks off on my return all members of staff were amazing in their kindness and concern making sure I was ok and didn’t overdo it while building my fitness back up again, I can’t praise and thank them enough. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone wanting to keep themselves fit and enjoy meeting new people aswell, it is a very friendly gym, as well as having a good workout I have lots of laughs as well.
The whole experience from walking in to find out about the gym, to then having the induction was just great. The staff are brilliant, Victoria is hilarious and great fun. They go over and above to make you feel so welcome and they are extemly thorough in explaining how eqiupment works, to seeing ewhat you want to achive from it. would 100% recommend this Gym.
Terrible business model. My mortgage has increased significantly and i need to cancel my membership as it's a luxury i can't afford. Gymophobics have told me i can't and have to pay until my membership runs out at the end of the year. This is a dangerous business model and could put people at risk of loosing everything. Customer service is poor, it takes days for any reply
