I started in May 2025, never been to a gym before and never thought I would ever go to one, until I went to Hinckley Gymophobics.I feel so comfortable there and there is no one laughing at how you look, and everyone helps you along your gym journey.I feel so much better, mentally and physically since joining.Total recommended to any woman who is wanting to get fitter and more confident within themselves, it truly works xxThanks Rachel, Michelle and Carol for the support you have given me ❤️❤️❤️
I am an over 60 year old and going to gymophobics in hinckley Leicestershire is absolutely amazing staff are so friendly and pay very much attention to each individual needs and are always there to help and I have made so many friends I now have a second family and so look forward to going x
Hi. I joined Gymophobics in Harrogate early July. I had done a month of a challenge running one mile a day and started to feel fitter and loose some weight. I knew this wasn't enough at 68 to strengthen my whole body so I joined the Gym. From the offset the support has been amazing. The whole circuit was well explained both the first and now my second program detailing how it exercises each muscle group. Sophie made sure I was doing them correctly to get the most benefit and not hurt myself. I'm loving going and can see the difference already. Thanks everyone.
As an over 60 I have at last found a gym where I feel comfortable! Gymnophobics Harrogate has been so welcoming and I'm loving it. The instructors and assistants are always very friendly and professional and keep you motivated. I joined last year and would definitely recommend it.
Been a lovely morning at the gym, just got back feeling energised. Really feel my personal exercise plan that’s regularly reviewed and adjusted by the instructors in Stafford shows dedication to their members to support and encourage us. Thank you all.
I have been a member of Gymophobics Aldridge, since 2018, with an absence of 2 years during lockdown. The staff are amazing, friendly, professional and very supportive. It is a lovely community, where everyone helps everyone else.Everyone has their own programme, and regular reviews - it’s personalised and tailor made for my requirements and restrictions. I really enjoy coming , exercising and catching up with ladies I see regularly. I even do bootcamp now! When on holiday I can dip into the online programmes too.I would highly recommend Layla & the Team at Gymophobics Aldridge. Come for a free trial - you won’t regret it!
Gymophobics’s ladies gym is more than just a physical workout experience, it is a great environment for the Mind, Body and Soul. The Instructors and Instructor assistants (Pink ladies as they are known) are welcoming, friendly, experienced professionals with good knowledge of Fitness, nutrition and Mental Health, there always members of staff available on the circuit and no-one is ever left isolated or wondering what to do if they are unsure about anything. So many ladies benefit from the whole Gymophobics ethos, getting fit and strengthening muscle and bones, toning, weight loss and even results of diabetics becoming post diabetic and off of their meds. There is the option of online studio classes I.e; Pilates, Menopause. Trim and Tone (My favourite) and many more. The Gym also offers beauty treatments which are fabulous and if you just want some respite you can just go along for a coffee and natter with friends and make new friends.Clare Holloway is such a good owner/manager and tries to accommodate everyone, she runs numerous charity events each month and Christmas is her forte and where all the ladies from Colchester to Clacton gym can all have a lovely Christmas evening get together.Gymophobics’s is just like having an extended family out there in the community.
I was in for lovely surprise! As soon as I walked in I was made to feel welcome, by the instructor and existing members.Everybody is so friendly. In the past Ive always avoided the gym.Mainly because I get bored, have no idea what Im meant to be doing on the equipment and it seems like its a big chunk of your time taken up.I have changed my mind.It is a circuit so you always know what you are doing next.It is kept challenging as the instructors are always on hand to tweak your program or help with technique and it only takes 30 minutes of your day.I thoroughly recommend it.
I was attending the Gymophobics at Hatfield. Very bad experience. Very boring, monotnous. After the work, only a two-hour window slot. I stopped going there long ago due to my health-related issues and my GP made a referral to another programme. Still, they are not allowing me to cancel the membership. Now I'm forced to pay.
