If i could i would give 5 stars to all the staff at Felixstowe gymophobics and one star to the management/owner then i would. My Sister was in hospital as she had 4 discs replaced. Because their payments are on a loop and they never remind you when you have to start paying again, we ended up with a letter from the ' ONLINE DIRECT DEBT AGENCY' not only did we have to pay for the month's we missed but we were also charged for late payment.
If you're thinking about joining the gym in Felixstowe then like i say the staff are fab. Just remember the payment is on a loop and as soon as you miss a payment ' no excuses' you will probably end up with a debt collection agency on your back. READ ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS ON TRUSTPILOT BEFORE JOINING THIS ESTABLISHMENT. IT IS NOT THE GYM INSTRUCTORS THAT ARE AT FAULT,, IT'S THE MONEY SIDE OF THINGS THE HAVE INFURIATED MEMBERS THAT THIS COMPANY SEEMS TO THINK IS ACCEPTABLE.

They banned me for life by e mail without hearing my side of the story. I have since received a reduced membership offer, I asked them to delete me from their system, and recently birthday wishes! How crass can you get? Am now with an excellent gym with professional trainer and doing well.
Never thought I would love going to a Gym but Rachel, Michelle and Carol care about everyone and make you feel welcomed and supported. I would highly recommend using this gym and meeting all the lovely ladies who like to stay active at whatever age.
Gymphobics hessle You have failed to mention your dubious trading practices though in your welcoming ad.. I would urge anyone thinking of joining this gym to do so with caution do not I repeat do not hand over cash to them and make sure you do not sign the membership paperwork that they will thrust at you as soon as you close the door behind you.. my wife at her peril did just this as they seemed welcoming and nothing was too much trouble before she went... It didn't take long for the grubby money grabbing to start when it didn't suit them...straight after signing up they completed a blood pressure test and said she could not exercise before getting checked out by her doctor as it showed high blood pressure reading...A week of blood pressure tests sent to the doctor and diagnosed with stage 1 hypertension and an irregular heartbeat 'arrhythmia'... Praise from me for highlighting a problem we had no idea about...disgusting money grabbing afterwards .. Wife has contacted them and asked for the deposit back as she never even got the induction, not sure she spent more than 10 minutes inside the gym and has asked to cancel the membership until we have finished the doctors appointment to even know if she can exercise,... all have fallen on deaf ears no money returned and they are expecting £40 a month for a service she cannot use.. businesses like yours are why gyms have a bad name..
Hi, I joined Gymophobics in Ruislip last June, and can honestly say it was the best thing I did. To me its become a family gym. All the staff are so friendly, helpful and all are full hands on the job. They walk around watching and making sure your standing correctly and using the machines the right way to give you the best results without any damage to your body.The new premises in Ruislip Manor that the gym has moved to which is located across the road to where the old one was, is BRILLIANT, Martine the boss with the help of her team has done and excellent job.For me personally its been a life saver, as having had depression and anxiety, it gives me the will to get up in the mornings and visit 'MY HAPPY PLACE'
I joined Hinckley Gymophobics in September 2024. The ladies who work there are fantastic! They are so supportive and care about each of us ladies. They share the journey with you and celebrate every success. Ladies, you’re brilliant and I highly recommend them 😊
I have been with Gymophobics Hinckley for 2 years. I love the support and encouragement I have received from Rachel, Michelle and Carol..... they are amazing. They encourage you to push yourself, but they are also aware of any limitations you have. The members at this gym are incredible, there's always someone experiencing difficulties, whether that's training or personally, the support you get is incredible. Rachel is very hands on and knows each and every member. I feel so proud of what I have achieved with the incredible support given me 🫠. Keep up the good work team xx
I have been attending Gymophobics Hinckley since 2019. I go four times a week and love it there as it has such a warm and encouraging environment. All the instructors are happy, friendly and knowledgeable and members get on really well, it’s so easy to make friends. I have been supported through two operations in the last year and my programme has been adapted taking account of my limitations and easing me back into exercising correctly so as to aid my recover. Can’t recommend them more highly, they are wonderful 😊
