Our experience with HPHB was great from start to finish! It was very well organised and clear on what we had to do each week. The course leader, Alice, was extremely informative and non-judgmental in her approach. We loved meeting all of the other attendees and the social at the end was a really nice way to end the course.
We had a great experience with Happy Parents Happy Baby! Louise taught us so much about the birthing process and baby safety, she answered all of our never-ending questions. I also appreciate that we got to meet other couples in our area with baby’s on the way. This gives a sense of community that I am looking forward to spending time with on maternity leave.
As expectant parents with both families living back home in New Zealand, what we loved about HPHB was the opportunity to build a local support network with likeminded couples. The course portal was thorough and the content presented was practical, educational and insightful. In an era where social media overwhelms with conflicting and often unsolicited advice; HPHB cuts through the noise and equips you with what you really need to know from informed midwife’s who are often mothers themselves. I can’t recommend enough!
We had a great experience with HPHB. The midwife who led our session was very knowledgeable and made the sessions fun and interactive. I feel much more prepared about impending motherhood and managed to meet other parents-to-be who live locally, which is so important. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
The best prep class for new parents to be! We found the course content presented in a very refreshing way - all instructors equip you with best tools and information without taking a certain side or try to push you in a specific direction. E.g. some of the hospital-led classes we've taken were clearly persuading you to think and act a certain way. HPHB is also a great way to meet new parents near you! Highly recommend.
Lucy, who took our sessions, was absolutely amazing, so lovely and so informative. We’ve made some good friends already and have been organising meet-ups and planning activities before and after babies arrive. I feel so much more ready for birth, baby and everything else thanks to the HPHB team. Thank you!
My husband and I attended the Happy Parents. Happy Baby antenatal classes because it was recommended by a few people. We thought it would be a good idea to meet people who are going through the same experience as we are and learn more about birth and starting parenthood. I definitely was not disappointed by the information that we received from our midwife Tamsin. She was extremely knowledgeable and we never felt like we were pressured into using a particular birthing plan or to make certain choices about feeding ect. Information was given in a way that explained what research has said about it or if there wasn't sufficient research, Tamsin would explain how it could benefit you as a parent. I think these classes are also a good way of involving your partner make ensuring that both of you have the same information. My husband was always blown away by how much he learnt in the classes.
