We had such a great experience with HPHB! It covered everything we needed and all the questions we had as two new parents-to-be. The classes were led with clarity, reassurance and excitement, which was just what we needed. The fact that you also get to meet other parents-to-be is such a lovely bonus and we met some great people that we’re excited to keep in touch with through this journey!
Really helpful course with lots of good practical and medical advice. Great resources to refer back to once the course is complete, and of course it’s a great opportunity to meet new parents - a really lovely social atmosphere is embraced in the sessions.
Would 100% recommend. The classes were really well balanced between info, advice and activities plus there are additional resources, videos and tips on the online portal which helps cement all the info. There are also weekly (optional) live Q&A's that match each session which were pretty helpful too. The classes are interactive so you can get to know the other couples / people but in a really gentle way that doesn't feel too forceful. Finally, the midwife who led our classes (Grace) was fantastic!
From the very class, it was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Our course leader was a midwife and had three of her own children so was able to share so much knowledge with us. She was so patient with answering everyone’s questions. I didn’t use it as the classes covered everything I needed to know but there’s a live online Q&A you can attend too if you need more information. Plus there’s the HPHB portal with videos and useful resources. I love that they set up a group WhatsApp for the mum’s and dads to be, and there’s also a social for when all the babies are born which i’m looking forward to! Would definitely recommend HPHB Antenatal Classes.
HPHB were the perfect classes for us! We really liked how relaxed the environment was and how the class was organised 50% teaching and 50% practical. Emma had the perfect balanced way of teaching, using her knowledge as a midwife but also personal life experiences. I would 100% recommend HPHB to a friend (and have already).
Very informative. To the point. All info was necessary and worthwhile. All sessions were useful and focused on key areas of pregnancy/after birth. Lots of online resources to go back to as and when you please. A great opportunity to meet people going through exactly the same thing.
My husband and I had a great experience at our local HPHB antenatal class. Hannah, an experienced midwife who took the class, was really friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. She encouraged us to ask questions and we came away from the class with a lot of knowledge. Would highly recommend!
We're so happy we chose HPHB. The sessions, both in-person and online, were really valuable, and being able to connect with other parents-to-be was wonderful. It's both exciting and daunting to be expecting your first, but the sessions really help by giving you space to talk through what's on your mind and share this with others in the same position as you.
