The major issue with the course are the videos. They are extremely badly produced. Sorry. They are unengaging, very repetitive and very difficult to watch. It would genuinely only cost about £500 per video to get these edited professionally with some cut away clips, graphics and videos to help make them a lot more watchable. We genuinely found them painful to watch. If, and I mean if, you can get through them, the information is all there, but we were watching a 1.5x speed and my pregnant wife still managed to fall asleep in every video. Considering your audience, it’s a pretty basic issue you really need to fix. The classes are fantastic, and we would have loved to have more of them, but the online material is just appalling. We have seen videos from other courses that are much better.
We attended the Happy Parents. Happy Baby. antenatal classes in Swindon with Sally, and it was a fantastic experience. Sally was amazing – incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and friendly. She created a welcoming environment where we felt comfortable asking questions and learned so much valuable information to prepare us for birth and parenthood. We left each session feeling more confident and reassured. Highly recommend these classes to any expecting parents!
We really enjoyed our time with Happy Parents Happy Baby. The course content was brilliant and Issy the midwife delivered the sessions in a great concise and easy to understand way.The best part of the course for me was the community that we are now a part of. It’s invaluable to be able to meet others going through the same experiences as us. The social at the end of the sessions was the perfect way to end the course!
The classes were really informative and friendly, our trainer Aimeé had a wealth of knowledge and experience which was fantastic. The online Q&A sessions were great bonus to get more advice from experts and other professionals. Having looked at other providers I found HPHB to have more course content and be at a more affordable price point, with in person sessions to meet other parents to be. So glad to have found HPHB. We recently completed a prenatal course offered by HPHB, and We couldn’t be happier with the experience. As first-time parents, We were feeling anxious and overwhelmed by all the unknowns, but this course turned that anxiety into confidence.
The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable and was a trained midwife with lots of experience so you can really trust what they are saying. The classes were informative and also interactive so no death by PowerPoint here! There are also some great additional out of class resources that you get access to during and after the course is complete including Q&A video chats with professionals. My son is 5 days old and I have already gone back to the videos for information. I’d highly recommend this course.
We had a great experience with Happy Parents, Happy Baby. We went into the classes with the hope that we would gain some valuable experience, as well as the opportunity to get to know other soon to be parents in the area. We were happy to find that the classes really delivered that. There was a lot of information delivered in the classes which we will undoubtedly find useful in the months to come. The classes were delivered by a lovely host who made us feel very welcome, and fostered a great environment to ask questions. Which also helped us feel confident to get to know on another. We would definitely recommend other expecting, parents Happy Parents, Happy Baby for their antenatal classes.
Lucy from the Ealing course was brilliant! Classes were informative but you didn’t feel overwhelmed. They covered everything you needed to know and the online portal was great too. The groups were big so you got to meet lots of couples. I would highly recommend for first time parents!
